We were very impressed with how they chopped down the tree in our front yard. It was close to the house, driveway, bushes and power lines were on the other side (very close to it). They called to schedule a time and arrived right on time. Nothing was damaged, except for the lawn (which we expected with the tree stump falling).
For stump grinding, they did not call beforehand to schedule a time. When they showed up, they did not knock on the door. My husband and I were planning on putting down a tarp so we could catch some of the wood chips (for less clean up). I didn't see them in time to get it out. This would have been four stars if they had at least knocked and five if they had called to say which day they were coming.
I have a business in my home and this could have been wrong timing if they had come any later in the day. I'm thinking this experience with the stump grinding could have been a flook.
He did allow me to put the tarp down when I did get out there, but by then it was too late and didn't help at all. He also asked me how deep we wanted the hole (which was nice of him to ask). He wouldn't have asked if I hadn't gone out.

CHOP Tree Service did an awesome job after a 36" diameter walnut tree blew over onto my house during a bad storm. Following the initial inspection, a very competent, professional crew and crane arrived at 8:30 the very next morning - on a Saturday, no less! Within less than 4 hours, they had the tree removed and everything completely cleaned up and they were on their way to the next job! Thank you to the entire friendly CHOP staff for an outstanding job well done!

the guy's did an Awesome job, trimming my Trees. They exceeded my expectations, went over everything that I wanted done, cleaned up great after, and my trees look fantastic. Thank you
