Beautiful church and cemetery. Very historic and loved walking the grounds imagining people that were here as early as 1762!

Very beautiful, quiet place with a lovely walking trail that leads to Wesley Gardens. Best time to visit the gardens is when the flowers are in bloom (late spring) or when things have cooled off in the fall. Stained glass windows inside of the church are absolutely beautiful too.

Beautiful church and so full of history--of John and Charles Wesley, the Dodge & Gould's family, and of Anna Matilda King, Neptune, and Neptune Small among others. We went here on a rainy July afternoon and had a tour guide who explained to us the history of the place.

This beautiful and historic church inspired author, Eugenia Price, to write a historical trilogy surrounding St Simons Island and residents buried at the church. My family would come to St Simons from Athens in the summer so my aunt bought me a Eugenia Price bookto read. My favorite place to go was in search of graves for families that were featured in the book. As a young girl, i felt like I was visiting family. My favorite place on earth except for my hometown of Athens and my own family's cemetary.
