Fyi you wont find as many japanese snacks here as you may think, more thai, vietnamese, and stuff from Taiwan. But I took that as an opportunity to try some new stuff. Store was clean and mostly well organized. Will be coming back in the future.
They have what you need and more. Recently found myself mesmerized by the fresh blue crab waving their claws about while my wife gathered ingredients for a classic Vietnamese dish.
Amazing selection of food and even a non-food section of kitchen supplies in the back. Full freezer section, small produce section with a lot of variety, small fresh seafood counter, large junk food section and entire back section of store devoted to dry goods. Dry section has everything from sauces, oils, dry noodles, preserved foods, and drinks. Good prices as well for all products.
Chu Hai has everything that I need to cook Ackee canned and Saltfish Bacalao Cristobal brand or fried Snapper...they have yam, bamee and baby bok choy..my favorite! Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful!
Nice price but they have to review the customer service.
Clean store with some hard to find meat cuts, like pork belly. Prices can be expensive for some items while cheaper with a few others.
Nice clean store A Hidden Gem in MKE. I get my Soursop & GinsengHere
Went here yesterday and were racially profiled. First off, my wife spoke to the man and the young lady behind the counter, they both looked directly in her face and said absolutely nothing!!! As we started to shop, both employees came from behind the counter and watched my wife and I as we tried to shop. We felt very uncomfortable so we put back everything and left. Never to return again.
Staff is not friendly but they have items not found in chain stores.
I never went in. I don't know why but I never seem to feel welcomed in Asian markets. I'll try again in the future because I really want some of there cabbage and other things.
