I have had nothing short of an incredible experience through CIEE! They are an incredible program if you are looking to become TEFL certified and/or teach abroad. I always knew that following college graduation I wanted to pursue my dreams of both traveling and teaching, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without them. They have the knowledge and tools to help make the process of getting to another country and finding a placement, go smoothly. Thank you SO much CIEE!

CIEE is such a wonderful program! After graduating from college, I was looking for opportunities to teach abroad and CIEE was highly recommended; I am so happy I decided to do this experience with them! They were so helpful throughout the entire application process and have continued to support me through my teaching and living in Thailand for the past 6 months. I trust this program so much that I decided to sign up for a full year abroad, and it has been the best decision! bonus perk, you get a stipend for teaching for the entire year and a 10% discount if you sign up for another program with them again I have had amazing adventures and made so many friends through this program and we have enjoyed it so much that we are signing up to teach with CIEE again in another country! So many non-CIEE teachers that I have spoken to in Thailand have had questionable or difficult experiences with the program they chose to travel and teach with; I can honestly say I have no complaints with my experience with CIEE!

I have had three great experiences with CIEE. My family hosted two exchange students, one from Spain and one from Germany, when I was in high school. Both are now a part of my family. Now I am participating in the Teach in Spain program. I have received a lot of support both before and after I arrived in Spain, especially with completing important documents. Plus, the week of orientation when I arrived helped me start to get acquainted. I would recommend studying abroad or working abroad through CIEE!

CIEE provides so many resources and support that someone going for a teach abroad or study abroad experience by themselves would have a lot more stress. Studying abroad provides a strong sense of community, field trips, amazing diversity of classes, great locations, etc. Teach Abroad provides a lot of resources and support to allow you to live and work more independently so that you feel like you are truly living and experiencing the location as an adult. While the orientation in Teach Abroad can improve, it is way better to have this than go it alone.

I had a great experience during my CIEE TEFL certification program. I enjoyed connecting virtually with my classmates and learning more about teaching, from grammar and curriculum to navigating cultural differences in the classroom. The cost was manageable, the schedule of the coursework wasn't too overwhelming and I especially liked the weekly live meetings with a tutor to help you through the program. I walked away feeling empowered to be the best TEFL teacher I can be, and I'd highly recommend this teaching certificate to anyone!

CIEE has been so helpful in navigating the moving/teaching abroad process. Their staff is always on hand to answer any questions or guide you in the right direction; they also have staff in the US for anything you need before you leave and staff in Spain for when you arrive and are living here. I don't think I would've been able to get through all the paperwork without their guides and help. I 100% recommend CIEE if you're looking to teach English abroad.

I had a great experience with CIEE's Teach in Spain program. Personally, I think it is worth the start up costs as the assistance and guidance CIEE provides before departure as well as upon arrival and the whole time you are abroad is so helpful. The visa application process can be a nightmare and a lot of red tape, but CIEE breaks it down for you. I trust their staff a lot and have had very positive experiences with them. One staff member even helped my friend out a lot when she had to pull out of the program last minute. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to go out of their comfort zone and do something unique! It has been a great first year post-college for me.

I went on the Summer Session 1 trip to Madrid through CIEE. I had an absolutely wonderful time! All of the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They were always quick to respond to any concerns or issues we had. They also gave plenty of helpful suggestions for fun things to do! I was well informed of events and prep work both before and during the trip. The CIEE team made sure we had the “Know Before You Go” Canvas module, so I could learn about what to expect in Spain. Finally, the classes were amazing! Both of the professors were very fun and made the class enjoyable. Both classes allowed us to actively go out into the city and explore during class time. It was wonderful to be able to get close to some of the things we were learning about. The classes were never too much though, and I always had time to go out exploring on my own or with friends.

I am currently in the CIEE Teach Abroad: Spain program, and I am impressed by the support and care that I have received from this organization. In this time of transitioning into another culture and language, CIEE has been incredibly responsive to my concerns, proactive about giving me helpful information, and providing lots of opportunities to enrich my learning experience. I would recommend CIEE to anyone who is considering teaching abroad! Though it can be daunting to move to a new country, I've felt so much better knowing that I have people who want to help me succeed.

CIEE made my process of moving abroad smooth because of the information, preparation and amazing team behind the customer service. This company is knowledgeable and well connected. The constant support and communication really stood out to me. I would recommend CIEE to anyone who is interested in going abroad.
