We were WRONGLY headed toward another cinnamon roll establishment but while strolling through some reviews I noticed that I had completely overlooked the fact that it was a vegan establishment. Nothing against vegans or vegan food but I don't want vegan cinnamon rolls. If I'm going to eat dessert I want DESSERT! Cindy's offers DESSERT and at a "sweet" price to boot. For the size and price, these are some of the best cinnamon rolls in the area. They are light, moist and cooked fresh daily. Do yourself a favor and go get yourself one or six because we both know one is not enough.
Talk about unmet expectations. I remember this place serving up great snacks when I was a teen. Yet, my first visit in 15 years was a major disappointment. The cinnamon sticks were nothing more than a hotdog bun with cinnamon sugar.Food: 2/5
We ordered food and they gave it to us…it’s a cinnamon roll in a mall, hot and good…not a crepe from below the Eiffel Tower. Enjoy this iconic place that dates back to when the Galleria opened!
Always melt in your mouth amazing. The icing is the best part, so be sure to ask and add extra!
I generally hate giving such low-starred reviews, but the cinnamon roll I got was severely underwhelming. The dough was moist and pleasantly chewy, but—despite being sufficiently sweet—was devoid of any cinnamon or even molasses taste. I’d have settled with three stars if it weren’t for the fact the frosting simply tasted like shelf-stable store-brand stuff whipped together with oxidized canola oil and left to sit in the sun.
Probably the best cinnamon roll my wife and I have ever had, bought from a store.
Best cinnamon roll I've ever had.
Employee’s two guys were really nice. But I hate the way they put was paper on top of the cinnamon roll!! It removes more than half the icing! Causing a huge mess too! Really ticks me off. They should cut the wax wrap into individual sheets or have perforated wax paper on bottom and cut your roll from that and place it in a BOX!
The staff were really nice and the service was fast. The cinnamon rolls were dry. I was expecting it to be like Cinnabon. I guess I shouldn't have.
This is not just a review, it's a WARNING. If you expect a professional, courteous, or clean place to eat then this is not the place for you. I have frequented this place off and on for over 20 years and I have never seen its standards lower. After standing in front of the counter for 5 minutes while the employee socialized with one of his friends I was finally asked for my order only to be told that it would be a 10 minute wait. Okay, fine everyone likes warm fresh food so I consented. Then to my surprise the employee bags up a package of cinnamon buns and then gives them to his waiting friend for free as I'm standing there at the register. Where I come from that's called theft. Next, as other potential customers come by they are simply told that they are out of everything with the implication being the employees had no intention of preparing any more products. Then after another customer comes up who had obviously preordered, the manager is asked by the employee at the register to make change for a $20 which she goes in the back to retrieve only to return to kneading dough without any visible sign of having washed her hands and absent wearing gloves. Finally, after my 13 minute wait, the front counter employee tells me, "Oh, all I have is 1 order of cinnamon sticks" with the full knowledge that I had requested 3. When I asked who was in charge the employee initially stated that he was, then when I requested the contact info for a regional supervisor he retreated to the back office and returned with the previously aforementioned manager who then tells me that she is in charge. The two feigned politeness, but I'm certain it was only in an attempt to prevent me from contacting someone who is really in charge. My advice to the reader is DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY or time at this establish. Or better yet, Don't Put The Health Of Yourself or Family At Risk by going here.
