Cinemark Movie Bistro Lake Charles

I haven't been to the movies on a very long time due to my 7 back surgeries. My daughter and her boyfriend wanted to take for Mothers Day and told me I would love it and I did! The chairs were like I was sitting at home. VERY COMFY! Plus I could sit there the whole movie without it hurting my back to much. I would differently go again. I love it

I strongly suggest that if you go here you should utilize the 3D movie experience! It is great! The seats are very plush, and I have a great time every time. Early bird specials are the best, and try to avoid those 5 dollar movie nights, too much riff raff to deal with!

The primary selling point for this place is the comfort of the seats. The seats recline, have plenty of room, and feature a small table that swings in or out for food, snacks, and drinks. They offer standard theater food and a menu of hamburgers and other higher cost food. There's also a bar but I didn't go to it. My main complaint with the Bistro is that since seats are reserved, many people show up right as the film is beginning and interrupt the movie. Ushers don't take action to quiet these people down or speed up their seat taking process. Audience members generally end up policing themselves. That's aggravating when you spend so much on the movie and concessions.

The chairs here are insanely comfortable! The staff is helpful & friendly. I go to matinees. Despite the comfy chairs, the cost is the same as other theaters. A nice experience with ample parking. Their website is not reliable, though. I've not had good luck with buying tickets ahead of time; when we got there, they were sold out, even though we'd bought our tickets online ahead of time and even selected seats. Another time they had a record of our purchases, but had given our seats to someone else. I think there's a time lag or confusion w/the way their website works with the actual theater. Another couple of times when we got there, the movie had an earlier start time than was shown online. If not for that, I'd rate it a 5.

Perfect place to watch a movie. Get to pick your own seats and not have to worry about being late and getting horrible seating. Food is also good. Haven't tried the bar but will in the future. And the seats are comfortable as well and they aren't close together so you dont have to touch the next person.
