Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 8:30 and there was only 1 outdoor table left. It’s a cozy restaurant with about 20 seats indoor + outdoor and 1 person operating front of house. We loved it! It was so delicious and they have some great deals going on! 3 tacos for $10 on Tuesday’s and happy hour all night on Thursday’s. They also have many veg and vegan options! What we ordered: Guac with pomegranate - yum! Really zesty guac which is my preference Shrimp taco - very creamy and the shrimps are cooked to perfection. Cochinita pibil taco - spicy! Pulled pork was super juicy. Al pastor taco - I don’t think this was made on spit grill since the meats were larger and chunkier and has a bit more cumin than a standard Al pastor but still delicious. The pineapples were very sweet. Queso enchiladas not pictured - decent portion and lots of cheese. The green salsa is delightfully peppery. And on a Tuesday all this food for less than $20/person. It’s kind of unbelievable!
It's a little hole in the wall. The staff was really nice and accommodating with dietary restrictions. The food was delicious.Food: 4/5
My friends and I had the guacamole, tacos steak, fish and shrimp and also the pork tostada. Everything was incredibly flavorful. Love that the spice levels were not altered for the usual American palette. Will definitely return.
This place is great! Delicious food and great service.Recommended dishesKey Lime Pie
If u give this place any less then a 5 star your mad food tastes amazing fresh. The potion size are perfect for there prices. And my goodness don’t get me started on the sangria. Only downside is limited outside dining which is not there fault covid ruined everything. But absolutely amazing service food and speed with food.
Tried the vegan Jalapenos Rellenos jalapeno poppers, and the vegan Tostada de Hongos. Both were tasty, and the poppers came with a tomato dipping sauce. The poppers were a little lacking in zing on the inside though. IMO they should have picked a vegan cheese that's more like a cream cheese, or something more tangy/sharp. And the pepper should have at least some spiciness and jalepeno flavor. These pepper I'm quite sure were not jalepenos, they had the spiciness of a bell pepper, and no jalepeno taste. One popper came out as a curious shape.. poor Carl the Slug, he knew he shouldn't have taken that nap in that basket of peppers! Interior was also fun and colorful. Props to them for having a vegan menu, and for reading my note for no utensils/napkin. I'd love to try the vegan entrees, but they look a bit too pricey.
Tons of vegan options on the menu and $6 HH margaritas with fresh lime juice. I would add pictures but I ate it too fast. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan and gluten free options
It’s a good place. I’m has lots of variety and the price is fair. Has vegan/veggie options and plenty of gluten-free thanks to the tortilla. I had an lime agua fresca and it was pretty good. The veggie taco was also good and the quesadillas are huge. I didn’t love the pozole, though. I’ll come back and will continue trying different things on the menu.
Do not miss if you are in the area. The cochinita Tostado was excellent. We were a party of five and everyone was very pleased with their meal. Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Had the pleasure of meeting the cook and was able to tell him how delicious everything was. If you stop in to eat you will not be disappointed.
Great Mexican place!! I had vegetarian tacos and boy oh boy….they were amazing!!!
