City of Greenleaf

Water is a life source, the greatest component inside a human being. We cannot live without it and that is why GOD gave it to us..With that said, you have no right to deny me or anyone the right to have water. You charge for something that I had for free and now I am unable to pay for it. If there are those that want to pay and have your service, that is their right but as for me, I will elect to have a well and a septic system that can provide for my most basic need. Jesus gave to me living water and HE did not send me a bill for it. I pray that GOD grants you more grace and mercy than you have shown to me. You may have thought your new system was a benefit, but it has become a burden especially in these very difficult times. It is only a benefit if you can afford it and being unemployed for a year makes it a burden for me and so many others. $180.00 a month is higher than the national average for water and sewer, higher than any other town in Idaho. You cut me off a week ago, do you know that a human being can only last a week without water before it kills them? I am doing everything in my power to move out of this town because I do not want to be anywhere that Jesus is clearly not. Remember HIS command 'love thy neighbor', unfortunately that is not what I have experienced living 3 years in Greenleaf. Sincerely, Karie Emerson
