Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The highlight of the meal was definitely their salmon! So many nice elements that just sing when they're mixed all together. The wait staff was a little inexperienced but still put up a nice service. Will definitely come back!
Other Pier's are less crowded. It's good to walk the trail and have fresh air. Lotta restaurants around and pubs. It also has a stop to pick passengers up. The place we were hanging out was a bit claustrophobic with great views. Staff were very rude and loud for no reason. Asked us not to go out of that tiny box with our drinks. Good ferry ride that gives amazing city views. Parking is always a problem
The wait staff is very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is minimal, which is great because the pier and the water are the attractive features. The food was perfect, especially the sauces. Every flavor was delicate without the need to overwhelm the complimentary components. They have indoor, outdoor and pier side eating with a bar. It needs to be on your list to try, if not weekly.
Went here for a goodbye lunch during the work week. Coworkers said it has the best view of Boston - and they weren't lying! The restaurant is small, yet not cramped. It was very airy and had a nice feel. Drink menu was creative with the cocktails, and I enjoyed one of the specials. They had a few good draft beer options too. Our group ordered the Mezze Plate and the Calamari to share for starters. Both were superb, although the calamari order was a bit scant. The mezze plate was fun and a decent portion. My main was the salmon with mussels and Israeli couscous. Wow. Simply delicious. I'm a huge fan of salmon and mussels and this did not disappoint. The couscous provided a smooth bed for the salmon, and I love how the flavors came together. The large size of the couscous works well with the dish. Definitely would order again. Overall I really enjoyed Pier 6. It's on the pricier side, yet makes for a great restaurant for a special occasion or treating oneself. Would come back again! Vegetarian options: They have limited vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly Parking: Parking is challenging, and can be expensive if parking close to Pier 6
This place is solid. The views are beautiful. Even with a packed house the service was good and attentive. Our cocktails were refreshing, creative, and delicious. The cheese board was good. It only has two cheeses but they were delicious along with its other sides. The swordfish tacos were really good and had depth. The poke bowl was full and the fish in is was dressed wonderfully. The cauliflower tacos were okay but the breading was bland and even with the lime squeeze, it was lacking. I love that they have those but I wish the chef would revamp them. This is a great place. I'll be back.
Lobster roll, swordfish tacos, ahi tuna tar tar and a couple of painkillers, the drink, and you have a great lunch date. Food was amazing. Sat with windows open and enjoyed the breeze. Will return!
Excellent place! Make sure to reserve at least a week beforehand as reservations from one day to another are difficult but not impossible to get. If it's a nice day outside, ask for a window seat to enjoy a view of the bay, although anywhere is nice or maybe the top deck if it's not that breezy or terribly sunny/hot. The inside area is cozy with nice and enough space and table separation. Service is great and fast! Wife and I had oysters, lobster roll and lobster omelette, both amazing. Cocktails are a plus. Although they don't have different types of coffee, their black brew is good as well, with cream if needed. All in all a really nice experience! Would visit again! PS: They have a private paid parking lot right next to the restaurant, which is a plus in Boston. 15 DLLs for 2 hours which is not too bad!
A great place to enjoy a delicious meal. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We got there as things started getting busy so service began a little slow, but once the food and drinks started coming out, it was perfectly paced. We were seated at the window and the view of downtown Boston all lit up was fabulous.Food: 5/5
Come here for a relaxed atmosphere with really mind-blowing views of the Boston skyline and the navy yard. Food, on the other hand, might not be the strong point of this place, as I definitely had much better fish&chips and lobster rolls elsewhere.
The meals here were delicious! Oyster selection recommendation from our server was a great choice. My drink was made with the right ratio of alcohol to juice and chicken was well juiced. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Great service from our server despite being new!
