This Art Museum Area condominium offers breathtaking views of the Philadelphia Skyline, and most units come with a garage parking space! Located at 2001 Hamilton Street, Cityview condominiums consist of two towers - a North and a South. The South tower is newer and generally offers sweeping City views. While the North Tower is made up of some smaller units, some condos in this building offer balconies. Cityview is close to Target, Whole Foods, WaWa, and a variety of shopping and dining options. There are a total of 532 condos, and the Association is pet-friendly, although there are some restrictions. The common areas offer a seasonal outdoor pool, a hot tub, fitness center, 24-hour front desk and security, and a lending library and business center.
Buy for the neighborhood, stay for the well tenured and trusted management staff, and the Board and committee members that dedicate incredible amounts of uncompensated time to the Associations. If you encounter an owner who has a complaint, invite them to be elected the Board of Directors so they can enact the change they desire.
Love the staff. Never hear my neighbors except the front door closing. You have to expect traffic in the city and I am on the south side where all the trucks travel. You can never spend too much on the lobby and hallways. They are the first introduction to the condo. It sets the tone.
I'm puzzled by posted reviews about paper-thin walls: I've lived here six years and I never hear my neighbors. I've grown to deeply appreciate this building. It is truly the best location in the city -- parks and museums all around, and conveniences galore, from Whole Foods to Target to a State Store to name-your-pharmacy. You never have to deal with the dense traffic of town and can be on the river drives, the I-76 expressway or I-95 in moments. The neighborhood is vibrant and the amenities are amazing, particularly the serene, well-maintained garden. The staff is friendly and helpful and prices are still much better than Center City. This is a gem.
Decent location, safety, and convenience. But UNBEARABLE NOISE from constant delivery trucks 24/7 to the Rodin Place, Dominos, WaWa, and Whole Foods. In addition, the construction at 2100 Hamilton St will also wake you up at 5am Monday-Friday. Windows are old, insulation is poor, you will hear everything, including your neighbors on the left, right, above, and below : Management does the minimum.
Don’t move here management team is incoherent, spend money terribly, and can’t get even the simplest task done properly.
Unfortunately, there is a lot that needs to be improved at 2001 Hamilton. The entry doors to the units look awful! Too much money is being spent on the lobby. The walls/ceiling are paper-thin. you can hear the neighbors talking to each other and worse!!!
The staff of Cityview are stars :
Beautiful, spacious, very nice. I'm impressed
Great staff, great space, great views. A bit pricey, but overall a great place
