We were pleasantly surprised with how nice and convenient this place was for the price!
I have to admit there is something about a motel with a pool in the courtyard that makes me think of the 60's and 70's when that was the coolest thing ever!
The lime green front doors, plants and huge pool make this motel JUST like that!
We stayed here on a road trip heading to New Orleans. It's only 1 hour away if you take the causeway.
ROOM:
Everything has been renovated, bathrooms had a spacious granite counter with big mirrors and good towels, and the room had a fridge and microwave. We stayed in a ground floor unit that faced the pool and it had an awesome vibe.
FOOD/GYM:
The gym was actually decently equipped but was pretty warm for a hard workout.
The restaurant was a PLEASANT surprise! They had a ton of great menu items, daily specials and many healthy/trendy options. We ate lunch and dinner there and absolutely loved the food! The restaurant itself was impressive as well.
Great stay all around, no complaints at all!

I never give a 5 but I break my rule here. This is an older facility but very well maintained. The indoor outdoor pool is unique and actually has an 8 foot deep end. The restaurant is very good with a well stocked bar and very good, reasonably priced food. This is our third time here and we definitely will be coming back.

Amazing 3+ star hotel with indoor / outdoor connecting heated pool with smooth curved bottom. No nicking your feet here! Go swimming at night and still stay warm even in winter. An on-site restaurant, The Rock Bar, with fine gourmet delicious flavorful, chef inspired food, with excellent friendly wait staff. Tall iron fence surrounding like a true gated community, hotel access card protects your vehicle parking space and feels secure. Plenty of lights at night and just overall clean looking establishment worth the price but look up on priceline for deals. Free breakfast coupons provided in same nice restaurant but extra for plates with meat.

Nice hotel with a great staff. They upgraded mine and my husband's room at no additional cost for all the inconveniences of other places. We truly enjoyed our stay

My stay was great. Hotel staff was kind and courteous. Room and lobby were clean. Gated entrance felt secure. Check in and out was easy. My service dog was no problem and easily welcomed. Doors were not the most sounds proof as we heard everyone who walked by as if they were right next to us. But no one in rooms on either side so it was quiet most of the time.
