They offer yoga and extra classes to woman but have zero programs for men. Law suit in bound.
My husband is currently in. This whole county is corrupt and rude. Genuinely not helpful ever with navigating the legal system. Care packages down for 3 weeks. Apparently the crack pot visit system has crashed but of course no one who works here actually cares about inmates much less their spouse's. Abuse of inmates is constantly going on. They let popular inmates do whatever they want. So long as they don't have to stop watching the TV.
My daughter went there for 2 days after drinking and fighting with her boyfriend on vacation to Vegas. I understand it's jail but when an inmate is being polite and respectful, don't treat them less than the human being they are. She tried several times to talk to staff, just to ask them the process and they would either ignore her or walk by her like she's not even talking.
Best jail I’ve ever had the pleasure to spend the night in. Staff was supper nice & well dressed. Wasn’t very hungry Don’t know why so I didn’t get a chance to fully experience the complementary lunch as I was already nauseous. Reading selection was questionable Murder mystery of a man planning the demise of his x as I was incarcerated by my soon to be x. All be it wrongly accused. None the less, plenty to read, to include comments on the wall from previous guest. I enjoyed solitary confinement knowing I had alone time before being paraded in front of a live cameras/ parade of people. But I had the peace of mind knowing I was being closely watched by great securely cameras, to include toilet time.
I got to grow my own apple tree out of my state issued shampoo bottle, Amazing stay. Best sleep I’ve ever had. 9 months was a little extended. But I came out with beauty sleep on maximum. 6/10 recommended.
One of the worst jail facilities in the state. Extremely unsanitary and they do not care about their inmates. They fail to provide basic necessities such as water and won't give you your prescribed medication even if it's for seizures. An inmate passed away due to staff not giving him his medicine. You have to pay for basic necessities such a as soap to shower with and toothbrush. Also don't expect to receive any kind of mental help such as speaking with a counselor, doesn't matter how many times you ask they are lazy and won't give you access to a counselor. Also the food is moldy and unsafe to consume. They should be shut down. I'm currently filing a law suit against them
Been a few times usually during the summer; it's great to see old friends and light smokes with pencil lead in power outlets; that being said great clothing provided by none other than bob barker, 24/7 staff assistance; you like romance novels?? Well you've come to the right place, makes my heart glow just thinking about my last years month stay; I just may come see my friends in the carr soon for the thrill of it; it's just not the same trading milk for an egg on the outs
Their response time is always been phenomenal. Even when I have contacted the non-emergency number I have received one or more deputies at my house within 2 minutes. They're always very polite and courteous and do show that they care. I believe I receive better Service living in the Incorporated parts of Vancouver then I would if I was in the city.
It's just Great I was hoping I would see our Clark County Sheriff,. Sheriff lChuck Ackins. He is such a great Sheriff and so we'll liked by everyone. The whole environment reflects respect. It's clean well kept and organized. The atmosphere seems relaxing as well. I credit this to. The many wonderful officers Clark County and our sheriff who if your going there you might just get to see a few. Remember to smile and they'll smile to.
met some nice dudes and the food is better than I could cook. Jail cell was packed but its always a good time when you're with your good buddies. Also we found out how to create sparks with the electric razor so we could light our joints when the guards weren't looking. Would give 6 stars if I could
