Quiet, spacious and clean. My clothes come out clean and dry. Pricey yet it is worth it
Lovely staff! Super helpful and patient. The place is kept clean not just by staff but also by those using the machines - I LOVE that! Not crowded at all, I was here all day!!! and it was so chill in comparison to other locations. Sadly unlike other locations drying is not free here, only the laundry soap is; .35 cents per 8 minutes. Don't you miss the days when it was .25 for 10? Lastly, I didn't see a sink, I wasn't looking for one so I'm not sure if they have one or not.
I think people can get quite impressed by the size of this place and the number of machines available. But in my opinion, it’s an overpriced facility and you are obligated to purchase a laundry card that costs US$ 3. Also, you aren’t allowed to select how much you want to add to the card. The minimum amount is US$ 10, if you are using your debit card. If you are going there for the first time, know what to expect. I am definitely going to look for a moms & pops neighborhood laundromat and support it. I refuse to ever go back to Clean Rite.
I was staying at an Airbnb nearby and walked into this place for a one-time only laundry service. Although I felt the $10 laundromat card was a bit steep in price, the overall experience was excellent. Gina, who works here, was very cheerful and superrr helpful in getting me started and helping me with a couple of free drying sheets as well. The place is sparkling clean in the morning time at least when I visited. There are 2 nice massage chairs as well and I made use of one of them $1 = 3 mins and so on while my clothes were drying, felt alive and relaxed afterwards after running around NYC last few days. Excellent service, good clean place. Helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.
This is place is.. okay. It's pretty spacious, with different sizes for every need. It was close to my Airbnb and served the purpose of finally getting my clothes clean after almost a month. Ultimately, it gets the job done but it's SO shady to require a min of $10 and not allow people to actually put an exact amount on. I would come back since it's one of the only 24-hour, credit card laundromats in the area, but probably wouldn't make it my "neighborhood location" even if i lived here. It gets the job done, though. Machines: They have sizes for: double, triple, jumbo, giant, and super giant loads. I used a double for about 7 days of clothes, though I separated them dark/delicate. There are about 60+ washing machines and 70+ dryers. About 4 were washing machines were out of order, which seemed decent considering how many machines there were. None of the dryers appeared ooo. I didn't see a countdown for the washing machines, but my normal double load seemed done after about 20-30 min and my delicate about 25. Dryers DO count down the time, from about 8 minutes i think?. Machines worked well and left my clothes feeling and smelling clean. I used the low heat drying temp, and it was accurate, leaving my clothes slightly damp at about 12 total minutes. Cost: Cost starts around $4 for double and up to $13 for giant load. 0.32 to dry per 8 minutes, no matter the heat setting. So for two double loads, i had to pay $20. $3 for the card, $4 per load, then 0.30 ish for drying, with money left on the card about 11 after drying I likely won't use since i dont live in the neighborhood . For everyone else, that means you're always going to be out $2ish if you only need the double machines, because you can't adjust the money you put on the card to a specific amount. Covid Protocols observed: I didn't find it to be terribly clean, probably because it's a 24-hour laundromat. No cleaning done while i was there and no schedule posted, so who knows how often they clean. I wiped down the handles with sanitizer wipes we're in an endemic, y'all and each one came away black. Face masks required and worn by most, but not enforced if someone wasn't wearing one. The staff had them on, but a few had them pulled down under their chin. Pros: - Small parking lot - They accept credit/debit/ebt but not cash - Spacious, with options for a lot of different loads - 60 washing machines and over 60 dryers - Guest wifi though i didn't use it - Place felt safe and secure for me, as a girl by myself, becuase it was staffed. - Folding stations next to the dryers - Felt safe being here by myself at least during the day lol Cons: - The laundry card is $3, and you're required to pay a minimum of $10, so it cost me $20 for two washing loads . - For a place with 50ish washing machines, there were only 12-15 chairs LOL. - Not terribly clean tbh. - I didn't see a time on the washing machines, so it was hard for me to calculate time left
I used to love coming here now it's only out of convenience that my sister and I do. The card machine is constantly broken and there's no ATM on site. My sister's card was unable to be read by the machine and instead of fixing it or reloading the amount onto a new card they gave her a blank one. The employee they had on site was more busy on the phone rather than assisting customers the entire time we were there.
Many broken machines, others looked like they either leaked or were opened before they were done because there were towels that appeared to have been placed to mop up water on the floor in a few places. It seemed pretty dirty this night. The machines frequently smell very musty and must never get sanitized or left open to air out. Thankfully I do not have to come here often. Things have improved since my initial review, which is a good thing. The place you bring your stuff to get cleaned should be clean! It has been on my recent visits, thankfully.
I have had the most pleasant experience! I met both John and Gina at this location and they have been extremely helpful. I needed to have clean both two of my favorite large down comforters and they simplified the process for me. They shared with me the larger and jumbo washers and dryers. They assisted me with carts and dryer balls. They even shared with me that I can drop off laundry and gave me ready & return times. This place is real clean & pleasant too! I would totally recommend.
Many machines, some with large capacity. Some dryers do not have adequate heat to dry the clothes, cost to wash and dry is on the high side comparative to other laundromat in the area. Open 24 hrs, attendant was helpful, clean, light music in the background. Parking.
Clean laundromat and a lot of washing machines & dryers available. Unfortunately not all ofthe staff is helpful. Beware the gray haired lady who seemed to be bothered by a question I had concerning the card machine. I had to buy a new card because I left mine at home. Exact amount is required to purchase a new laundry card $10 and understandably the staff don't provide change. However the owner can install a machine that will give change for a $20 bill. Otherwise I wouldn't tell anyone to not use this laundromat, just don't be surprised if any staff are unhelpful.
