Clear Lake United Methodist Church

This place confirms why I question the existence of churches. Being stranded from out of state, ribbed, out of gas in the church's parking lot...I drug myself to ask for help and got the red tale treatment from a business manager. I asked for work to make $100 in gas to get home. I was given coffee and a quick shooing away. Why have churches when faith with out works is dead...and it really is! Sad.

Wonderful music program. Lots of volunteer oppurtunities. Be open to approaching staff and ushers or members to become involved or simply write it down on the sheet provided with the program. Some one will contact you. That is how my family became members 😊

Came here last year for the Easter service. We were completely ignored by the church staff. We weren't greeted at the door when we entered or when we left. The church staff wouldn't even make eye contact with us on our way in and on our way out. I've never been to a church and felt so unwelcome. This is not the kind of church I'd ever want to be a part of.

Pastor did not read one scripture during the service. Made secular jokes to entertain. However, at least I am welcomed back.
