After 4 years of being extremely devoted to this program - I can honestly write a truthful review. Not only about the owners, their mission and ‘how’ clients are treated and ‘how’ unprofessional ‘most’ of the hired staff treats the patients at this non profit. 1. Owners and all employees clearly violate HIPPA laws in multiple ways within every day operations at both locations. North Dixie office & South Dixie office. This has been documented but not submitted to the proper authorities; however will soon be addressed. 2. Owners are 2 African American females that are not only biased towards hiring AA/POC but also will intentionally hire AA/POC with less experience and less education and pay them more than already hired and truly dedicated employees. This is not only obvious but is a REAL issue and possibly a violation within civil rights. Any one whom is in a business like this for the wrong reasons is not in it to win it for not only the Addict but for themselves. Ridiculous. 3. Owners can clearly NOT hire ANY qualified professional counselors and KEEP them. I feel it is due to their apparent greed; by not offering competitive wages and deserved benefits. WHY? ... Clearing Paths Administers do NOT offer either to their employees which in effect ‘harms’ their clients from receiving the care they deserve and rightfully need. When an addict comes to treatment of this nature it is finally detrimental to their livelihood to seek help and if the administration here at clearing paths doesn’t have the clients best needs as their number one priority.... WHY ARE THEY IN A BUSINESS LIKE THIS? 4. The structure of the program here is based on ... twice weekly groups, twice monthly meeting w/a counselor and over time the patient ‘Phases Up’ however this type of laddered progression it is not achievable or obtainable if the counselors are constantly quitting as the patients are continuously being re-victimized every time we tell our stories and after 4-5 counselors within a 1 year period ... this is a highly disturbing trend. After 4 years of constant therapy at high levels to be bombarded by counselors leaving persistently it nearly defeats the goal! At what point does an owner step up to the plate and automatically begin to ‘phase up’ LOYAL patients? It is utterly disgusting and a despicable way to operate an addiction treatment center that is supposedly non profit. All we see are the owners ‘Moving On up!’ Yet they have no insight or direction for this operation; obviously it doesn’t effect them so why should they? Despicable. I used to be a number one advocate for them but I refuse to let these disturbing trends continue to spiral out of control. I have met too many opiate addicts that were truly here to get well for themselves and their families and all while they are steadily dying off; the greed of these owners is downright DIRTY and we don’t live in the south. 5. I can only speak highly for the doctor that I have been with now for nearly four years; he is Amazing. I have stayed here because of him and if he were to leave - I am sure that this business would crumble quickly! Also there are a ‘couple’ staff members that are truly respectable and are not biased or stereotypical; but over the past 4 years we have seen the bad ones come and go... more go than stay. Fact.
This place just told my family Dr's office that they call a patient once and leave voicemail. If they don't hear from you, they don't have time to call back. After 30 days, they shred referral. They would not answer us when asked if they received referral. Is this how they do business? Unbelievable. This was a Recorded call from our family Dr's office. I Never received a call or voicemail which can be proven by my phone company. Incompetent business. I will be reporting this company...oh and maybe I can make a call to newspaper and tv station.
Dr. Corney has been a Godsend! Clearing Paths is not the place for impatient people. You may have a 3:30 Dr appt and not be seen until 5pm but the Doctor will address every issue you want to talk about and take as much time as needed with each patient.
They were the worst place I have ever been to my life. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone
The people at this establishment have been an absolute blessing.
Best place I ever been
