Nice sports bar on Connecticut Avenue, in the Northwest area of Washington, DC. Nice offerings on the menu. Started with Kimmie’s Special Nachos that were a nice portion. The salmon platter was good and served with rice and a nice portion of steamed broccoli. The French Dip was very good and it was served with French fries. The CP Burger was an 8 oz patty served with french fries. Last, the Quesadilla #2 was ordered from the starter section. Lots of cheese and quite large. Good selection of beers. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. If driving, parking could be an issue, as we walked there. Nice neighborhood, felt safe. Friendly atmosphere. Seems like a fun place to hang out on the weekends. We will come back, next time we are in the area.
Admittedly it was my fault for going to a sports bar for food but thought it would be a fun rooftop for dessert. Got the tiramisu and it came in a plastic tray, 60%frozen. My girlfriend got a Sav blanc that could have passed for a wine cooler. My Allagash was good and the rooftop atmosphere was nice.Food: 1/5
Great local bar and a mainstay on the CP strip. Pizza is made in an actual pizza oven which is pretty amazing for a neighborhood sports bar. All the bartenders are great, remember faces and make the experience more fun. The two things keeping this from 5 stars is 1. I wish they had more local beers on tap and 2. I wish they had a good happy hour special.
The worst rooftop bar experience you can get in DC. Drinks are clearly watered down. Service is simply nonexistent. Oh and expect cleanliness to be a real issue here.Food: 1/5
Good food, good atmosphere. Can definitely get a little rowdy during game times, but staff seemed to handle it well.Food: 4/5
Best of Washington DC. When I am in town and want a great meal ... CP Grill is my first choice. Football season ... no better place to eat great food and watch games. Hopefully, they expand to NYC.Food: 5/5
In a city that is often filled with bars and restaurants trying to be too "trendy", CP Bar and Grill is a comfortable place that gives you the classics. Similar to a Buffalo Wild Wings in set up, but superior in service and quality. The rooftop bar/deck is also the only in the neighborhood and they appreciate their regulars.Food: 4/5
Came for a World Cup game and watched up top. I love this roof deck! The breakfast was absurdly large - what a nice surprise. Very tasty and super friendly service!
Been here a few times now... quick & friendly service, good chicken wings, cold beer, What else do you want?Food: 5/5
I've been going to Cleveland Park Bar and Grill for years and have not had any issues until recently. The food was good, but the service was absolutely beyond horrible. The tip was apparently not good enough for the bartender and he essentially bullied the friend I was with to give him more money as a tip. This has never happened to me before and nonetheless I will not be returning.
