The Clinkscales name has been in the liquid waste industry since 1981. Gary and Marie Clinkscales started the company as Clinkscales Septic Service.
Son and daughter Trent Clinkscales and Terry Shankle, bought the company in 1992 and added portable toilets changing the name to Clinkscales Portable Toilets, LLC. Later the Elegance Series line of luxury restrooms were added.
In January of 2017 Trent purchased Terry's interest in the company.
