Clubhouse - Prairie Meadows

To be honest, I lost. But, as far as casino's go, I felt this one was top notch. Fairly large, with all sorts of games. They have sports betting, keno, tons of slots, all sorts of table games, craps, roulette, poker, video poker, they even have video blackjack! Staff were helpful and even friendly. It was a good experience despite my loss. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.

We stayed at the hotel like we do once a year. The hotel person that checked us in, Sidney and the other lady were very friendly and helpful. Even got us checked in early. The girls are the cafe Sunday morning were great! Super helpful and friendly. Cassi and Leslie I think their names are. Our hotel room was very clean and updated. We have stayed in a regular room and a suite and both were great experiences. It's not often you come across good customer service at a hotel and restaurant so it was very refreshing to have that. I will spend the extra money every time to stay here when in town.

As usual which seems to be the case with a lot of casinos after pandemic lockdowns lifted the machines were only paying minimum. I went on two different days and each time I simply broke even. However, what sets this casino apart from the other casinos I visited- is the atmosphere. The music was a mixture of Motown and other hits from the past. The machines were new and updated. In addition, majority of the floor is non-smoking a major plus. I never sign up for those join-to-get-a small amount of free play cards. I feel those cards are a scam and used to track people slot habits. On the other hand, my friend signed up for one and did not win anything... Overall, we had a good time and met some great people. If you have any money left once you finish at the casino..... the Des Moines Outlets are five minutes away .

Horse racing here is great. The sports book is huge, and the game floor is nicely laid out. A concert area off the gaming floor makes seeing free shows awesome its a fun place to people watch and grab a bite. I'm not a huge gambler but it has everything you would want in a casino. The buffet looks beautiful but the food is dismal. Presentation takes backseat to flavor and quality. The steak house however is fantastic. The chislik is to die for. Nearby activities: Adventure land theme park is next door, also several truck stops and gas stations.

The walk from truck parking is a long walk.. AJs steak house was pricey but it was really good great service there are waitress was great friendly. Over all it wasn't to bad there.. nice and clean.. really like to be there during a horse race..

Was NOT impressed. First time being there, immediately thought the $5 slot play on card was cheap as other casinos offer much more. I was there for 45 minutes and did not win anything more than $3! I'm an avid casino goer and stay for hours at other ones. This casino is cheap compared to the others in the area.

I was there on a Tues night. It was more busy than I expected. Had a wonderful time roaming around and playing slots. Casino is on second floor; and it is sprawling. Clean bathrooms, clean gaming area. I madeout pretty good on winning. I left with more than I brought with me.

We had fun, we both got bonus free plays on our machines. The waitress gave me free soda pop. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Huge selection of machines throughout the casino.

It's a casino! Enough said but there restaurant is excellent and the employees r helpful and courteous. And it's environment is pretty laid back. Always a fun time if ur into that kind of thing!

Unfortunately I never seem to win but find myself here often. Still enjoy going it'd just be nice to walk out ahead. Place is always clean foods amazing live music when they have it's always fun.
