CMC Makeup School

Many years ago, I was blessed to have bumped paths with the late and great Kevyn Aucoin. He asked me what I like most about makeup to which I didn't have a solid answer. He asked if I wanted to be a makeup artist and I told him yes. He asked if I thought I was already a makeup artist to which I laughed and immediately said no to. The last bit of wisdom he shared with me, before the next round of drinks, is that I would know when I was a makeup artist. After attending CMC Ultimate Plus Artist, there is no doubt in my mind that I have been provided the best possible education and fundamentals of makeup possible. EVERY instructor made the experience personal and shared their knowledge of the industry. This was not the first instructional class I've had and more than likely it won't be the last. However, the bar has been set pretty high by CMC so rather than wasting money for an imitator just go ahead and get the real thing! Sorry if this review sounded a little wordy? But I'm preparing for my 3rd interview with MAC.

The school was everything I hoped for! I learned so much driving m all the teachers. It was great to see each artists different eye and techniques!

I traveled from Houston, I learned a lot. I would not have known how to even begin to do an updo. I completely recommend it for hair. I wish I'd known they excised before! I didn't take their makeup course, but I hope to!

I had an AMAZING 8 days of learning at CMC in the Ultimate Artist course. I traveled all the way from Florida just to attend. The instructors were all very knowledgeable, entertaining, alive, and very informing. They covered everything from proper techniques, marketing tips for a successful artist, industry tips and tricks, and product reviews. I am walking away feeling more confident, and ready to put my training into motion. I will definitely recommend this class to all new artist looking to enter into the industry.

Great customer service to Alyssa! She is so helpful. Chris he is fantastic with airbrush! Natalia is a wonderful spirit great information with bridal and business. Anja is great with fashion makeup. All of These people are so talented. ☺ Very happy to have met them and learn from them as well!!
