Story

Cobbler’s Den was founded by Mack who was a second generation cobbler from Chicago that moved to the Scottsdale/Phoenix area about thirty years ago with his wife and children. After moving to Scottsdale, he made a reputation for himself as a quality oriented individual with a high emphasis on service.

Mack operated a very successful store on Camelback near the Biltmore in Phoenix for over fifteen years and sold it in 2003. He then opened Cobbler's Den Shoe & Luggage Repair on Tatum just north of Cactus, across the street from Paradise Valley Mall, and has been open for twenty-six years at this location.

His son Chris, now a third generation cobbler, have worked together and built a very successful business. Chris has been diligently working to keep the quality standards that his father has put in place.


After several years of listening to customers and seeing a lot of traffic traveling to the Phoenix store from Scottsdale, a second store was opened at the Promenade Shopping Center on the corner of Scottsdale Rd. and Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd.

Both locations are now managed by Chris who will take the time to explain the job and price options to you in a professional and educational manner so you know exactly what will be repaired, how, why, and how much!
