Delanee Koppersmith opened Cobblestones in 1981 and it’s still thriving despite countless businesses going under due to increasing rents and gentrification. That amazing fact is reason enough to celebrate this really cool store, but there are other reasons. Delanee is a warm, welcoming, and striking woman. In some ways, she is a throwback to a different, classier era, which is only fitting considering this is a chic vintage clothing shop. Walking into Cobblestones is like a wonderful trip down memory lane to a NYC and world that no longer exists. Delanee has a fantastic curatorial talent and a knack for displaying items in a wonderful manner that somehow escaped me when I was an antique dealer. This hidden gem of a shop is bursting with vibrant colors and an eclectic, astutely curated array of Hollywood-worthy dresses, cocktail hats, purses, leather gloves, silk negligees, evening shoes, and far more. I have no idea how this shop escaped my radar until 2021 when I’ve been back to NYC 10 times since 2004!

Huge collection of the vintage things including clothing, accessories, hats and shoes. Everything is so elegant. The shop owner has a keen sense of vintage. I really enjoyed the conversation and ambiance there. The shop should be on the must-have list of vintage lovers. I strongly recommend it. It's worth a visit!

Cobblestone had so much variety to browse through I could have spent another hour. Unique vintage clothes, accessories, etc. Look high, low, and all around. The store associate or perhaps owner is kind and willing to help. You won’t regret shopping here if vintage apparel, accessories, and more is what you are looking for:

True vintage shop. Lots of ladies accessories and lingerie in addition to shoes and clothing. You can certainly find amazing treasures here, but not at a bargain price.
