Cohen's Fashion Optical

The man behind the counter was extremely rude and rushed me to pick glasses, though I was as respectful as possible. It's not that Cohen's Fashion Optical has remarkably better frames than other places, and I did not pick anything at the end. I found great pairs elsewhere, with much better customer service. Would not recommend. Also, I share similar sentiments as other people of color in not being treated respectfully or with a pleasant demeanor. Perhaps this can be a heads up to other people of color.

I've had my eyes examined and glasses made at this Cohen's optical shop at Quakerbridge Mall for over a decade now. The same optician and optometrist have been working there the whole time, and I couldn't ask for anything more. I've tried other places like LensCr***ers, which have good frames and lenses etc.,but what bothers me is that they're constantly pressuring you to buy extra coatings, insurance and so on. The Cohen's Optical at Q'bridge Mall, however, is completely different. I've purchased prescription Rayban sunglasses with uv and anti-scratch coating, and I've purchased simple everyday economy glasses to replace ones that were broken, worn out or misplaced. They helped me find the style and price range I sought, answered my questions, and patiently brought out a half dozen or more frames for me to try on.

We have been customers for over thirty years. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for glasses. The staff is awesome. The quality of work is exceptional. The care and attention given to the customer is more akin to family than owner-client relations.

The optometrist and staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The prices for appointments are also the best in the area, as far as I can tell. My contact lens exam today was $90 with a coupon. I called around and even Walmart optical was over $100. Exams for glasses are of course less. The prices for contacts and frames are a bit higher, though still competitive. They carry a line of adult glasses that are $130 with standard lenses.

Just called to ask if they take united health care choice plus which it is an insurance plan... and the person was like “ don’t know what that is” It’s an insurance plan; clearly i’m asking if my insurance is covered to book an appointment... If you simply can’t answer that why even try to call and ask a question in the first place. K

I just picked up my two pairs of glasses and I absolutely Love them they are perfect! I can not say enough about the staff and their kind and courteous ways going out of their way for me! Thank you does not seem like enough praise. Debra VanFleet-Miller

Cohen's Fashion Optical at Quakerbridge Mall provides superior service and is customer friendly. Their prices are competitive and they stand by their service and products Highly recommended.

This place sucks has a racist manager working there I was waiting for my girl to get her eyes checked so I get on my phone started watching a few videos on my phone the minute I started to watch one of Puerto Rican soldiers singing plena culture music the manager walks up to me and tells me if I want to watch that video I need to leave the store. First of all there were no signs saying I couldn't be on my phone, secondly why not say something to me when I was watching the other videos, why wait till I started watching the Spanish one. I will not support racism in no way. I fought for this country 8 years in the Marines I nor anyone should be treated like this.

I would not recommend this place. I ordered anti-scratch glasses. But after a year or so, they are all scratched up. They would not admit they ordered the wrong type.

I got my prescription glasses here. The glasses are high quality and when I had size issues after the purchase, they were able to fix them efficiently and for free.
