Absolutely incredible collection of ancient mechanisms and artifacts! Beautiful array of objects for reference. My partner and I took lots of photos for a project we're working on. This was way better than any Google or Pinterest search we could've done looking for similar items
A great place to visit while you're in the Harvard or cambridge area. It's one of the few places that allow you to enter for free. It's not big probably the size of 2 classrooms but its packed with interesting instruments that have defined the knowledge we now take for granted.
Lots of history in there! A must visit!
I have been wanting to go inside for a long time and got my chance today! There are a lot of historical, unique, interesting, and really incredible scientific tools on display. It was great to see the beginnings of some amazing advances in the science field.
The H Scientific Museum is a hidden treasure. It is absolutely worth visiting. It is easy to get to, free and fairly small. A half hour might be an average visit, though one can take a few hours getting in to some of the substantive exhibits. The Science Center at Harbard also has a great and inexpensive dining place.
Truly unlike anything I have ever seen. If you enjoy science, you owe it to yourself to visit at some point if you ever find yourself in the area.
