Collier Insurance

It is really difficult for me to see other clients not give Collier Insurance 5 stars. I have been with them for close to 20 years and my experiences have been the highest level of professionalism. Starting with Dabney Collier and all his staff. You don’t really know how to judge an Insurance company until you have a claim. I have had 2 and they will both were paid quickly and effiently. This company and it’s stalf deserve 10’s for quality and accountability.

I recently changed my business liability insurance as well as my personal property insurance all over to Collier. They are a great, locally owned agency who represent A rated companies. They saved me a substantial amount of money on top of increasing my insured amounts. I highly recommend Collier.

We initially obtained auto and renters insurance through Collier when we moved to Memphis this summer. Although the price seemed high, we thought that perhaps insurance was just a lot more expensive here. However, we checked with another agency, which found us comparable coverage for about $500 less per year. Obviously, that's a lot over the course of the year so we asked our agent to check and see if there is any way they can get us a better rate, as it didn't really make sense why another company could get so much better of a price. So we waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually, our agent got back to us with essentially the same quote, maybe $100-150 cheaper. Clearly not cutting it. So we decided to cancel our coverage with them and I called the agent to let him know. Every time we have changed insurance in the past (always through an agent), the agent has taken care of canceling it, sending us whatever paperwork was necessary, so that is what I expected from Collier. I called Monday... No response. So I called Tuesday and a few hours later got an e-mail with a phone number in the subject line and "Allied #" in the body. No other direction, no other effort. Utterly ridiculous and super unprofessional. We really wanted to stick with Collier and would have been happy to if they could have offered us a more reasonable price, but especially with the unprofessional behavior when we were looking for a better price, I would definitely not recommend them to anyone I know. Perhaps they are good for business coverage, but not for personal. Our agent was generally not knowledgeable about personal coverage.
