Some good deals here, but they charge a 10 % fee on top of the price and then you pay the taxes. If you want to get a deal you need to be aware of the extra cost involved.

Very positive experience. Needed to move my elderly mother out of her home of many years and generate as much cash as possible from her household items. Being Black and skeptical about how much race would factor, I was more than just a little apprehensive about selling the entire lot to an auction house. I tried an estate sale on my own with meager results. Then I contacted several auction houses to give a bid. Collins was not the highest offer, but after meeting Billy, his wife and a daughter, I felt they were honest and straightforward. They were informative and made me comfortable that their offer was fair and the value realistic for the KY market. And they were able to come in the next day and clear the house, reducing my mother's angst about selling her possessions acquired over her 92 years. Would highly recommend calling these folks if your circumstances are similar.
