Spacious areas to hike. Beautiful woods and one path leading to a pond. Small area for parking though. Worth visiting.
The trails are relatively flat and wide. Making them easy for kids and adults. Everything is well marked, and there are several points of entry allowing you to take different trails. It is beautiful in the fall and my dog liked it.
Nice walking trails. Gravel and dirt. Wonderful lake views. Slight hills at the start/ end.
Had a lovely stroll with beautiful fall colors. The parking lot was packed but all people were respectful
Hello the idea to amtrak is sounding looking at the climate and chgs. I have to give to the office first.
It has really developed into a gem of a park. Here are some old grainy photo's from '75-'76 when the land was first given to the state. It was a wonderful place to swim suits optional. That ended in about 1978.
Great park. Very quiet. Need better markings on trails
Great place to take a walk along the wooded trails, or a bike ride mountain bike or hybrid suggested. There are several parking areas, but in 2020 they have often been crowded, especially on weekends.
Breathtakingly beautiful place to hike!
