A friend of mine recommended me this place and I decided to have a try very random. I went on Sunday 12:30pm and waited about 15 minutes to get the bar seats for 2 people. The coffee is good! And it was very enjoyable to seat on the bar table and watch the bartender making cocktails. We waited very long time around 30 minutes to get our dishes, I guess they just got too many customers on weekend. The wait was worth it because both dishes I ordered are so yummy! I had Turkish eggs and nduja sausage, both are great
The brunch here is out of this world. The Turkish eggs are unlike anything I've had and I can't wait to visit again. I really enjoyed my blood orange margarita too and the cool hand cuke drink. Both were fantastic. Even the servers were all so lovely and friendly. Highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back.
One of the better brunches you can find in NYC. The food is fresh and seasonal. Very creative and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Get here early to get in line on Saturday and Sunday for brunch. Doors open at 11am but it’s popular and it is first come first serve. Enjoy!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Diverse menu with great choices. Enjoyed and recommend starting with the mushroom pate with sumner truffles with the Supply Chain cocktail with ginger liqueur . Wide variety of cocktails and selections of pasta.
Been here a few times now and Colonie keeps me coming back for more. The sweet potato and carrot appetizers are so flavorful. Pastas are delicious. Excellent coffee for brunch! Must go neighborhood spot.
The dishes were good but the service felt rushed. The drink was okay and felt acidic for being a cucumber based one. Everything was good but missed being great.
Great food. The blue crab fazzoletti was great. It's creamy and the pasta is fresh and has great texture. The watermelon chili margarita was great, especially in this summer heat. It wasn't too spicy and hit the spot. Dietary restrictions: They accommodated a shellfish allergy.
Get the Turkish eggs. Don't question it, just do it. Order the brussel sprouts too, the photo I posted is an almost empty bowl because we absolutely demolished them, I've never eaten better brussel sprouts and, my dears, I have eaten A LOT of sprouts in my life. Cannot fault this place at all.Food: 5/5
This restaurant definitely passed the vibe check. We sat right by the open kitchen and the chefs were so fun and funny lol. Our server had wonderful drink recommendations and our meal was outstanding. Don’t walk here… run.
Have to order the right dishes and you’ll have a fantastic meal!!! And they make a lot of stuff way too salty.. ask them to tone it down when you order if you don’t like things overly salty !! Things I’d order again - mushroom crostino - corn app - carrots - dates FYI dates are very sweet but yogurt balances well - mushroom campanelle Duck dish too salty Also it’s rly hot inside the restaurant .. likely because it’s an open kitchen.. I’d come prepared to take layers off or put them on I was sweating
