I had a mid-sized landscaping/excavating project to complete in my backyard...I called every excavating company in town and not one of them wanted to assist. When I called Colorado Excavating, they sent a skid steer and dump truck out the same day! Corey was awesome - he helped me out with limited notice! Would highly recommend!

Driving down the highway I-25 and happy canyon and I come across this guy driving aggressively cutting people off tailgating people. Then he has the nerve to try and push us out of our lane because he was to impatient to wait for us to pass. I’m writing this review to let your company know that who ever is in charged to try and instill some proper driving especially with a company truck. Unprofessional and not a good look for a business.

Cory has an excellent crew working for him. My whole experience from bid to finished project was smooth and quick. Excavation was quick, professional and spot on. Price was more than fair and Cory was able to get me on the schedule within 2 weeks. Highly recommend their services.

I am under contract to purchase a home and needed a quick turnaround on an estimate to replace a bowed sewer line. I provided photos and sewer scope and these guys were able provide a very quick response to help me meet my dispute resolution deadline. Hopefully if I can close and get the opportunity to work with them as their professionalism in this aspect of the business will probably be reflected in their work product.

Cory, the office staff & the excavator were great to work with on the digging of a crawl space for an addition to my residence. The access & space limitations for heavy equipment made this a difficult task at best, although the operator managed the tight spaces and always took the necessary precautions. Timely responses were provided throughout the process and Cory was very thorough in our discussions. There were no surprises, the job was completed as expected and I highly recommend Colorado Excavating.

Great company with great people. They hold true to their quality with a "do it right the first time" mentality always ensuring a great final product. Never had an issue or a headache caused from these guys and that's hard to say in this industry. I would recommend to anyone wanting to work with an honest, safe, responsive, and hardworking excavating company.

I am a project manager with 303 Development who has been working with Colorado Excavating since the company was purchased a while back by Corey Gollnick. We have used this company for jobs ranging from a small sewer line change out on a remodel to an extreamly chalenging excavation for a custom home in Evergreen. In addition to the many standard residential construction contracts with us Colorado Excavating provides all excavation and utility services for of our multi-million dollar developments. Considering all of the above I can confidently say that I do a lot of work with Colorado Excavating. This company will provide technicians and operators that are skilled, ideal time frames, solid scheduling, integrity and above all honesty! Thank you Cory and team for all you do for 303 Development, you are highly valued!

Colorado Excavating was hired to replace the tap at the Water Main as required by Denver Water. It then took 3 re-inspections to get Denver Water to approve the job, as the crew from Colorado excavating wanted to argue at every turn about the water meter placement. Per the company's owner, "it takes them 3-4 times to get approval by Denver Water". Ummm, no it doesn't. What should have been a single day job stretched into a 3 week hassle, as multiple voicemails and texts went unanswered for days. Do yourself a favor and find a different company if your project requires any sort of Denver Water or municipal permit/approval.
