This was an amazing adventure. The tour was great, and we owe that 1000% to our guide, Kim Big Horse, who brought the rich history and geography to life with her personal stories. I can't imagine taking this tour without her. Her deep love of the River shines through with each story and explanation. She went the extra mile to make sure everyone was comfortable and we'll cared for -- even rescuing my husband's hat when it flew off into the water. What great driving skills! Keep being awesome, Kim!

Wonderful and relaxing tour! Slow moving and no rapids here so thrill seekers, this will not be the tour for you, if you are looking for that. But this tour gives you a different perspective of the Horshoe Bend- it takes you around it from below! During the fall and winter months, I suggest bringing a warm jacket and even a raincoat or poncho- you might get wet on the way back with splashing water from the nose of the raft. I also suggest sitting behind the raft, away from the nose to avoid being splashed on on the way back. Our tour guide Kimberly was a full blooded Navajo Indian and she was very knowledgeable of the river and the surrounding area. Her father used to work at the dam where they actually launch the rafts. She also told us very interesting facts about her culture! And as a bonus, she also showed us dinosaur prints on the way back after the tour.

Awesome in all aspects. From the beginning to end. We made an error and had booked for a day earlier. When we arrived they were super nice and rebooked us for that same day. And even made sure we had our lunch ready. The coffee shop inside is great. So make sure you get there early. The shop provided with anything you may need for the ride. The ride and views of the canyon from the river are awesome. But that was only about 40% of the experience. Our guide Erin made the other 60%. She was incredible with the info she was sharing during the ride. This is a must...

Took the three-and-a-half-hour smooth water raft ride on the Colorado river through Glen Canyon which begins at the Glen Canyon Dam/Lake Powell area in Page Arizona. The river then enters the east end of the Grand Canyon. The raft trip does not go into the Grand Canyon! The rafts are large and motorized. Nice lazy Trip,a few stops along the way for lunch and to stretch your legs. You can watch videos on YouTube about the Canyon and Raft trip.
