Very bad school, I would not recommend anyone to come to Mines. Not a good place for international students as my friends always complained. Discrimination again international students. Many students arrested by their own police department who they pay to keep them safe. They make money by arresting black, so no wonder. Dead rate and suicide rate >1/semester. Some faculties even sleep with students.

One of the best colleges campuses I've been on. Went here for graduate school and had a great time. It's clean and safe! I could walk home at midnight and never had to look over my shoulder. Golden is my favorite city in all of Colorado.

Its good, hard but good. Also mentally taxing, be prepared. Not sure what these people are saying about professors being very racist or the police here being very racist. Most likely they are people who were punished for something serious they did and then got upset and complained online.

Really nicely set up. Wonderful to see all the gemstones. Friendly staff and bought some stuff at the gift shop. Nice experience.

So far, all courses/profs are very informative and completely relevant to industry. Very different from my undergrad program experience in eastern Canada. Great school if you want a solid career!
