DELICIOUS! TASTY! YUMMY! You know if they have a line outside the door 30mins prior to opening it has to be amazing. And they did not disappoint. I recommend coming back and trying a little of everything! The salsa is delicious with good spice. The red sauce and green sauce is flavorful.Food: 5/5
This restaurant was recommended by several people that I know. I wanted to have lunch here last Monday, but they’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Today they’re open until 7:00pm; so be sure to check their hours. I arrived shortly after 6:00 and they had lines out the door. I was told a 30 minute wait, but was called by 20 minutes. I started my service ordering a Pina Colada and Sprite, and an entree of green chili beef Chimichanga with an extra side of sour cream. Chips and salsa more like a red chili mole sauce are complimentary. The cocktail arrived after the Sprite, and it was a good size cocktail. I’ve never had one served with whip cream before. I liked the mole sauce that had a nice spicy kick and flavor. The entree arrived on a hot platter with guacamole and an extra side of sour cream, and refried beans and rice. Love a good plate of refried beans and rice. The chimichanga was fine. I wish it had more of a crisp. Packed with beef, onions, and peppers. The meat was tender and lean, and had good flavor. It was a good sized portion that I took home the remaining half; saving room for dessert which was flan. It was a bit strange as the flan arrived with a drizzle of grenadine? and some loose whipped cream and a cherry. The flan was creamy and delicious, and would be better without the grenadine; just a dollop of whipped cream and a sprig of mint. The check came with a total after tax of $40.02. I’d like to try a twist of the Pina Colada. Make it with vodka instead of rum, hold the whipped cream… called a Chi Chi cocktail. This was a good dinner and worth the drive to dine at. Open to try a few other menu items.
I did eat it all. Steak was perfect No refills on Chips. Texas has us spoiledFood: 4/5
Very authentic Mexican food! The service was excellent, the food is fresh and well seasoned. Many choices of Mexican dishes to from. As a complimentary appetizer soup was served with your chips and salsa. Great Mom and pop restaurant. Don’t be fooled by the outside of the building because what is on the inside is totally different. EXCELLENT!!! Keep up the good work!
This is as good as it gets for Mexican food. Real Mexican food. We love it. We have been going here for years. My favorite dish is the shrimp enchiladas in cheese & tomatillo sauce. I always take leftovers home and they are even better the next day.Food: 5/5
The food was delicious. We enjoyed a huge platter for 4+ people. Everything was good and the service was great. The only thing I was confused about is the waiting service. Some were told we will call your name and others were waiting for a text. Good thing our family asked about our wait time. The setup is kinda warehouse looking. Only thing that really matters is the food and you should definitely go get some delicious food.
Salsa tasted like it came out of store bought bottle and was very spicy. Basically no vegetarian food selection. Not willing to substitute beans for meat for food options that we wanted. Food tasted like it was premade. Do not recommend this place for vegetarians.Food: 1/5
Love this place. Food is always delectable and never disappoints. The service is inviting, friendly and attentive. But I give it a 3 as the only bad thing about this place is the hours. When they shifted the days they open and the closing hours man makes everyone double think if it’s even worth waiting long hours to be seated. It’s really disappointing. Why close on any given day at 5 or 6. The Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours should be 8-8 or 9-9. Only makes sense if they close on Mondays.
First time here, and it is amazing. A small bowl of sopita to start. I had the green chile chimichanga. Perfect heat, rice, and beans just like Mom makes. It's definitely worth the drive!Food: 5/5
Absolutely Delicious! By far The best Mexican food in Tucson. Food was so so good, service was great. Delicious salsa and Guacamole made fresh table side. Great atmosphere! I will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
