Comfort Inn Birmingham - Irondale

It s old but the bathrooms have been updated. Staff is friendly and helpful. My first room and stay was wonderful. So I booked a room for the next week. I was placed in a different room for week 2. I was awaken by something crawling on my arm. I turned on the light and it was a roach. Another roach was running across the bed and 3 more crawling up the wall. I pack my items and checked out. If they get rid of the problem it's a nice place to stay. Rooms: Roaches!!!!!!

Was a great location for a few nights while we evacuated from the hurricane. Hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to work with them for our stay. Internet was really good!! Beds slept comfortably. No complaints. THANK YOURooms: 4/5

Location was good for us - near our destination. No other hotel choices in the area. Rate quoted on phone was different from our confirmation and what we paid. Nice fluffy pillows. Pool not available until noon and closes early. Free breakfast is nice but very limited. No extra toilet paper in room. Had to go in search of a housekeeper who also didn’t have any on her cart. We went out in the evening and when we returned a maintenance person had been in and left or ac much colder than we had it set. So nothing terrible yet not great either.

Rooms were good but doors either won’t close or open, you’ll have to fight it. Fitness center ‍ was very basic with treadmill and some weights. Breakfast was decent. Swimming pool ‍ was dirty so we didn’t even use it. Overall good experience!!
