I’ll give zero stars if I could!! Been working for other companies and have my lovely clients I been working with and the company always schedule me with different people while client ask for one person. They don’t care about client or caregiver !!! ALL THEY CARE IS ABOUT CLIENT PAYING THE MONEY . They don’t know how to work with their employees. So many caregivers don’t show up to work or show up so late while other caregivers work non stop but they don’t care! Yesterday the client didn’t need no help and ask me to go home I call the company and let them know and they told me that I will be fired if I leave the job!!!!! The client ask if she can pay only for hours I stay and I say I am not going to take they money for the shift it’s ok . THE OFFICE CALL THE CLIENT AND TOLD the lady THAT SHE HAVE TO PAY IN FULL FOR 7 HOURS INSTED OF 2!!! THEY CARE ONLY ABOUT THE MONEY NOT THE PEOPLE !!!! 100% don’t recommend. I DONT KNOW HOW PEOPE WORK FOR SO BAD MANAGEMENT!!!! If you’re looking for a caregiver job do not and I mean DO NOT waste your time trying to get employed through Comfort Keepers Home Care. The people in office are very rude and have very bad communication skills. They will put you on the schedule for a client that’s 40 mins away from your house and won’t care. They will pay you bare minimum and give you 4-6 hours and say “THAT’S FULL TIME”. The lady name Gracie Holt, Cayla, and Cigi will blow you phone up until you answer just to ask if you want extra time just to give you a day with 3 hours in it. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISORGANIZED!!! While I am writing this post some clients just text me that caregiver didn’t show up to work, and I don’t work for them no more and clients text me all this things ! The general manager very rude person!!!! My supervisor Britany Shaw lie to the clients about caregivers gives private information to other people and very unprofessional person!!!!!! They didn’t let me speak to the owner when I asked . The general manager told me I won’t be able to speak with her because I don’t have enough experience while I was at the company. I did work for other companies and so far done well client the ones who can say about it what I can’t say about your company!!!!!!! VERY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!! One more person is Maria who is disrespectful to other people as a supervisor. I hope owner see this and make changes in their community!!!!!!!
I just want to share my story on how GREAT Comfort Keepers are!!! My Grandma is 95 yrs old and I work a full-time job and my mom has health issues so taking care of my grandma and working was very stressful I had no clue on how any of this works so I call alot of in home care for my grandmother and didn't get the right answers I wanted and then Mrs. Donna English called me back and her soothing voice answered all my questions and helped me every step of the way. I can't thank her enough and Comfort Keepers. If I could give 10 Stars I would.
One star is being too generous ‍I went in to Comfort Keepers this morning for orientation. Upon arriving as I was signing in I was asked my name.....once I told her my name she began looking through the stack of papers she had.....mine was not in the stack. I came in Tuesday to give fill out an application and provide my SSN and etc.for a background check....Fast forward to today my application was missing I basically sat in the lobby for over 30 minutes while it was located. Once it was found I was asked to provide proof of auto insurance and my vaccination card. Once I got in the orientation I was told to look for a link being sent by HR in my e-mail.....Long story short I ended up walking out of the orientation the link was never sent the two other people received theirs....I basically was holding them up while the lady giving the orientation kept saying you're not holding us up every second she asked me if I got the link yet.......I noticed I was never given my vaccination card back.....it was lost by the lady who made a copy of it. First impressions are everything and Comfort Keepers failed at being professional and apologetic about their actions today.
I grew up in Memphis but have since moved away. My parents still live in Memphis but no longer have direct family support. As they have aged and become less independent with driving, personal care and household duties, I needed to find outside support. Comfort Keepers was there to help. Candace and Brittany we assigned to my case. They quickly and efficiently found kind and well trained caregivers to support my mother and father. Being out of town and not being able to check on them with my own eyes, I was first concerned about how I would know if the caregivers were completing the tasks necessary for may parents to stay in their own home. Comfort Keepers has amazing "Family Room" that each family can join to check on their loved one. I worked with Brittany to assign daily tasks to my caregiver. The Caregiver goes through each task each day and records when and if it was completed during their shift. I has put me in such a better place knowing that my parents are being cared for and the Comfort Keepers team is accountable for things that I have requested. My parents are so please with the caregivers that they have been assigned. Thank you Comfort Keepers for your professional and loving support!
I’ll give zero stars if I could!! If your looking for a caregiver job do not and I mean DO NOT waste your time trying to get employed through Comfort Keepers Home Care. The people in office are very rude and have very bad communication skills. They will hang up the phone in your face, always to busy so you have to leave a message just to never get a call back, LETS JUST SAY IN THE OFFICE THERE ARE TOO MANY CHIEFS & NOT ENOUGH INDIANAS. They will put you on the schedule for a client that’s 40 mins away from your house and won’t care, not only that they accept clients that yells out racial slurs towards the caregiver and expect the caregiver to continue to go to the client. They will pay you bare minimum and give you 4-6 hours and say “THAT’S FULL TIME”. The lady name Gracie Holt, Cayla, and Cigi will blow you phone up until you answer just to ask if you want extra time just to give you a day with 3 hours in it. They are so unprofessional and they expect you to have auto insurance on orientation day. They turned one girl down because she didn’t have a driver license. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISORGANIZED!!!
Comfort Keepers was a huge help and provided great care for my Grandmother. We were very pleased with their service.
As a caregiver for my father who lived in a nursing home, I had three young children at home who needed me and I wasn’t able to spend all the time I wanted with him. I called upon Comfort Keepers to assist me in spending time with Dad, providing conversation, care and compassion for him. For about 5 years they provided Excellent Care. The caregivers were always kind and gentle and he greatly enjoyed their time with him. In addition, both Cary and Wendy Rotter were always available to me to help assist me in meeting Dads needs. I highly recommend Comfort Keepers to anyone looking for compassionate care for their loved ones.
Comfort Keepers has been a huge help to my mother. Her caregivers are so kind when helping with her daily activities. They also assist with dinner meal prep where they share recipes in addition to friendly conversation. Thank you Comfort Keepers!
Although my family and I ended up not needing the services provided by Comfort Keepers, based on the experience I had with obtaining information, completing all of the paperwork, and getting all of our questions answered, I highly recommend Comfort Keepers. The Comfort Keepers representative that helped us through the process went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful. Should we have a need in the future to bring in Comfort Keepers, I would not hesitate to do so. The only reason I am giving them a 4 star rating instead of 5 is because we did not deal with any caretakers personally.
My 84 yr old aunt was airlifted to Baptist Memorial Hospital and was very disoriented, scared and confused. I live in CA and asked the hospital if they offered night sitters, because I thought it would be comforting to my aunt just to have someone there at night if she needed. They referred me to a nationwide company which I was aware of, I called the number and was told someone would be calling me back, I assume someone from my local area. I waited several hours and decided to venture on line to see what I could find. I hit the jackpot with Comfort Keepers!!!!! They set up a night sitter for 2 nights, just what I needed, and the rate was very very reasonable. I told my aunt someone would be coming to sit with her and she was very relieved. I called to make sure that the "sitter", Catherine was there and gave her my number and a little information about my aunt. She sat the following night as well. Not being able to be there and knowing Catherine was overseeing her care, was a great burden off of my shoulders. I highly recommend this company. Good Job!!!! That other company did eventually call a couple of hours after I had contracted with Comfort Keepers.
