Story

Located in Livonia, Michigan, and with over 10,000 square feet of floor space, we are among the largest and most experienced restoration facilities in the United States. Our customer testimonials will show that we provide only the highest in quality, for all automobile restoration.

Every one of our restorations, whether it be mechanical, electrical, insurance repairs, or even a total frame off project, is cared for as if it was our own vehicle. We have successfully completed many restorations for Pebble Beach, St. John's, (formerly known as Meadowbrook) CCCA Grand Classic, and AACA, as well as engineer each restoration for cross-country touring.

Complete Auto Restoration is the best classic auto restoration shop I have ever dealt with. I’m an 81-year-old retiree who still loves restoring cars, motorcycles and tractors. I can do a lot of my own work, but when I have a total restoration project on a 1929 or 1932 Auburn, or some other special car, I always go to my friends at Complete Auto Restoration in Livonia. They can handle body work, paint, chrome, mechanical work and interior. I’ve known them for over 45 years and I can tell you they really know what they’re doing when it comes to classic vehicles. At Complete Auto Restoration they always treat the customer with respect, great service, and quality workmanship.

Eric and his crew did some work on my 1936 Chevrolet last year. They detailed the engine, corrected a bad shimmy, and fixed the oil leaks. Checking on the progress weekly is important so that the project stays on budget. One minor shifting problem was quickly corrected after I got the car back and had been driving it for a few weeks. After a winter of storage, it's now back for fluid checks and lube to be ready for summer cruising. I'll update this review when that's completed. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of Eric and his staff. I would (and have) recommended Complete Auto Restorations to others. Here's the update. The car went in Friday am for summer cruising prep - oil change, lube, fluid check, brakes, and idle adjustment. Eric promised it for Mon or Tues. They called Tues am to say the car was ready. The estimated amount and billed amount were very close. I'm satisfied with their work and pricing.

I just wanted to give some major compliments to Eric and the team. They recently did work on my 1972 AMX. Eric worked with me on the areas on my car that needed to be fixed: a fender, door and mirrors, etc...not the whole car. The results were excellent! The car was finished early, paint match was perfect and the cost did not exceed the estimate. I will be back here to get more work done in the future and highly recommend them. Keep up the good work, guys!

I have had the opportunity to work with the staff at Complete Auto Restorations on a regular basis. The staff and the crew working in the shop have always been very professional.They have always been busy when I have been there which I believe is a reflection of their superior service and workmanship. You can not always judge a book by its cover. Bring your car to Completer Auto Restorations and you will see for yourself.

I am so relieved and grateful to have found an automotive shop that I can actually trust and am completely satisfied and happy with their work. The shop manager, Eric, has extensive knowledge on electric, mechanical and body work that stems a lifelong career and passion for working on cars. This is evident when talking with him or seeing his work. His expertise is second to none! He thoroughly explains the details of the work he is going to do and takes time answer your questions. The shop owner is very no-nonsense and serious about turning out quality work. She is obviously dedicated to her customers and their satisfaction. She has created an environment that is welcoming and works closely with Eric and the mechanics to make sure customers have a great experience from the time you drop off your vehicle until you pick it up. This team really takes pride in their work and went above and beyond my expectations. Complete Auto gets 2 thumbs up and 5 stars! Would definitely recommend!!
