Computer Place of Fargo

Paid a premium fee for rush service. They have had my device for five months. Made repairs that were not approved at a vastly higher cost than agreed. And are not allowing me time to figure out how to address this before threatening to keep my device. I was extremely gracious and patient waiting for five months. Take note that they have an extremely high percentage of 1 star reviews. I'd been so grateful to find them thinking they could help. They could at least offer the grace of time for me to decide what to do, after they took five months as computer professionals to fix a computer.

Highly knowledgeable, helpful and professional staff. And, if that wasnt enough to earn this 5 star review, they had exactly the old, obsolete, and specific part I needed in stock, in the back, and took the time to search for it. During my brief wait, I had the chance to see some interaction with other customers, and the service I saw provided to them was above and beyond as well. This was my very first experience with The Computer Place, and it absolutely will not be my last. Amazing! 100% I would recommend: 10/10!!

Was doing a last-minute PC build for a friend, but realized I had lost a few essential screws. Not wanting to order online and wait, I found this place and explained my situation. They came through and helped me find the parts I needed!

Terrible customer service! $90 diagnostic even if they can't fix it? And then extra for fixing it? The massively obese guy manager didn't like the idea that I question ed this and started yelling. I'm not sure why anyone would agree to that. Stay away.

These fine folks were able to recover important files off my laptop in ~30 minutes after Best Buy told me it would take them 2-3 days to get around to it. They really helped this college student out! Would recommend wholeheartedly

went in cause verispn wouldnt replace and fix my screen protector. They not only fixed it but didnt charge me. Amazing service and very friendly!!! Highly recommend. 5 stars!!!!

I had a problem with my Iphone for months so I bought a new one this week. my problems trnsfered to my new phone and the "Phone Provider" could not fix the problem. I tried solutions i found on the internet with no success. I went tothe computer place and within a few minutes were able to get my phone working like it was supposed to do. great service.

In October, I had to get some keys on my MacBook replaced. They said they’d have to buy the full set but would keep them on hand if I needed to swap more out later. Sure enough, another key bit the dust. I went back and was there maybe 10 minutes before I got my keyboard fixed. The biggest thing for me, though, is that they honored their word after all these months. Respect.

Had my screen replaced. Tech said they had replacement screen but didn't actually have it. Went to pick up phone and it was mid-repair awaiting the screen. The technician went on vacation and the owner told me to come back in one hour. Come back in an hour and shop is closed for the day. Next day still waiting, asked for a loaner but was given a TracFone which obviously only works if that's your service provider. So I'm stuck with a useless phone I can't use while they wait for parts. When I went back to get my phone, you can see where they worked on the phone and the forward facing camera has dirt behind the screen, so can't clean it. Now all the pictures come out blurry. I'm just glad the back camera works great since they didn't touch it. Don't recommend this shop or their service. TLDR, Bad service, messed up repair.
