Concentra OKC South

The staff was really nice and kind, I came here for a drug test for my job. But holy cow is this place always packed it took me an hour to be seen! The people needing actual clinical help had a THREE HOUR wait! That's insane! I had to take a day off just to be able to even make it. It's not the fault of the staff but it's definitely something you should know. Prepare to make a day out of it, but please be kind and patient with them, they are here to help. The nurse who did my drug sample was very nice and professional.

This clinic is in serious need of staff! I was there for an hour and was treated as if I was the problem to their under staffed situation. After the hour of just filling out paperwork and getting the text to finish paper work, a woman came from the back an announced that they only had one dr and it could be four to five hour wait! Nope!!!! Not sitting with a back injury for four or five hours. Sorry, I realize the location is under staffed it wouldn’t hurt for the staff that is there to speak a little kinder to the injured coming in. I would rather pay cash for my injury claim, and cancel the WC claim then deal with a clinic that is over 20 minutes from my location to be treated bad and have to wait or drive to another location that is another 20-30 minutes away. 50 minutes from my home Just a heads up when you have to go.

Well to start off I was told the visit would take an hour to maybe an hour and half I was there little over 3 hours. There was 3 people seen before me that came in close to sn hour after i came in. They had the exact same visit i had drug screening and physical they also left before i was even called back to see anyone. I'm pretty sure they forgot i was there even though i reminded them twice. I've had countless physicals before but this was completely ridiculous and in no way should be called a physical in any term. I was there over three hours and the drug screening and what Concentra calls a physical only took 8-10 minutes combined. If i was the employer that sent someone to have a physical not only would I be furious i would definitely find another medical facility to send the drug screening and physical out to. I'm from tulsa and had several physicals at Concentra locations around the Tulsa area where i received actual physicals not the complete joke i received here in Oklahoma city. Its bad enough to be there over 3 hours for that particular type of visit but to not receive a physical more less is ridiculous. I could have left after the drug screening because a actual physical sure didn't take place .

Administration was fantastic, the PA is great as well. 3 stars only because of my interactions with them. They were professional and more than competent. I had a difficult interaction with an MA. As a registered nurse I am qualified to perform the tasks the MA was trying to perform. As difficulties arose, I asked her directly “Are you a nurse?” and she replied “I am.” Only after discussing my experience with the administrator who was fantastic did I learn that this staff member had lied to me about her qualifications. Dishonesty about one’s licensure in any profession is an egregious error. As a registered nurse I find this particularly troubling. When people with the minimal education of an MA who clearly did not understand how to give an IM injection….could not identify the correct location with anatomical markers, and had an unprofessional attitude throughout claim to be a nurse it defiles my profession and puts the public at risk. It is fraudulent and should require serious discipline and training within the clinic. This type of clinic performs a service that is much needed in the community. However the public should be aware that when you work with the staff you are not being triaged or cared for by a nurse, and not getting the quality care a nurse can offer. For serious medical concerns, you need to go to an ER and be treated by nurses and doctors who have advanced education, training, and experience.

Yasmin was extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. She truly exemplifies customer service! And Kami was awesome too.

I stopped in about 0830,, to be met with a lobby quickly filling up with people from opening. A few kind words to the staff already being challenged, and I was treated with kindness and attention. Thank you ladies!!!

Although I was called back immediately! The wait time just to go over results was not okay. I understand the short staff or only having one provider, because I too am in healthcare. But at-least let the patient know that their could be a little longer of a wait… I scheduled a appointment to be out in a timely manner not come and sit for a hr and over had I not got up and walked to the front to be reschedule.

I had to come in for a physical and mask for test for my first travel position. These stars are for the staff there that day who made it through an afternoon where the computer system crashed and all upcoming checkins were no longer viewable and had to turn away several people. I was very lucky that day. I know they did their best, it took about 3 and 1/2 hours of waiting but everyone was courteous and kind and thorough. Kudos to the Concentra South OKC group!!

Very very veryyyyyy short staffed! Immediately once I was advised 2 and a half hours for a physical and urine test, I said to myself this is ridiculous. Sheleta I believe her that’s her name was great! I mean outstanding! The doctor that seen ne for my physical was very snobby and rude. If it id ever have to use this place again, I will be driving to the one on memorial for my sake and time ugh!

I arrived ten minutes before they opened and had to wait 4 hours for a physical and drug screening. The order they call patients back is random. They say no appointments but definitely not first come first serve.
