Working with Daniel at CFM was easy. He did a wonderful job helping us take our designs and ideas and putting them into solid designs. The cabinets, counter tops and flooring all came together in a timely manner and the finished product is just what we wanted.
This business is fantastic!! I am in the middle of a fairly large remodel involving what seems like every design element and fixture possible, including several different tiles, wood floors, fireplace stone, etc. Work had come to a complete halt when the materials we ordered from a big box store were not available. Enter Susan S, who not only found exactly what we needed and ensured that we had it within days, but provided exceptional service in doing so. I am living in a construction zone and stressed out, but Susan was calm, patient and made it happen. Above and beyond. Also, I would strongly encourage anyone working on any project to check out the beautiful showroom. It's a very large building full of traditional/ current items ranging all price points. Thank you so much Susan and Contract Furnishings Mart!!
I was very disappointed today when I found out CFM will not stand behind their products when installed in a rental. I inspected a rental property personally today where I had vinyl flooring installed three years ago. At CFM in Clackamas, they told me vinyl floors are not made to have chairs or furniture on them. So, why install vinyl flooring if you can't use it in a normal fashion? When purchasing the product, none of this was mentioned. It appears CFM only wants to sell and not deal with any product problems. I would recommend going to Home Depot or another store which stands behind their products. Interesting the CFM ladies I was speaking to agreed Home Depot was a better choice for purchasing for rentals.
CONTRACTORS DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT SEND YOUR CUSTOMERS TO THIS PLACE! I sent my customer in to CFM to pick out material and they tried to steal my customer from me. If you are a contractor and send your customer in here they will do what ever they can to take your customer from you. I was literally on a 3 way call with them, the customer and myself. They told the customer if you use your contractor you will have no warranty. They told me they would take it from here. WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE. I will spread the word to never use this company. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Their prices are crazy high also. Luckily I was able to send my customer to a different company where they got a fair price and were treated right. Your response is a LIE. We have an account with you and you would not sell us slab! You will only sell it to your installers. So your not wholesalers. You only sell to your contactor. Don't worry I'm letting everyone know.
We recently remodeled our kitchen and used CFM Clackamas to source our materials. We were so pleased with the knowledgable service that Daniel Birch gave us when selecting and designing our Medallion cabinets! We have a 1965 ranch with a galley kitchen that was so cramped, dark and dated. Now it is light and bright and wide open! Thank you to all our friends at CFM and thank you Daniel! You did a great job!!
I'm doing a really small project after a water leak. It's really hard to find "new" flooring when it needs to blend with paint and countertops that you have. The staff is really helpful and know their products.
It started with our 1975 home not having enough water pressure for me to wash my hair. Next thing we knew, we were planning a complete re-plumbing, and that involved pulling the walls out of the bathrooms and carving into the floorboards. At that point, we decided on a full bathroom remodel including custom showers, and pulling all 1200 square feet of carpet, plus all the flooring in the bathrooms, to replace with LVP. That meant we might as well take out that awful 1970s decorative brick on the fireplace and replace that with custom cabinets and tile. Add on a few other major projects that needed supplies from a lumberyard, and we've spent a few months removing all evidence of the 1970s from our home except me I was born early in the decade. The choices when you're doing something on this scale are overwhelming, so as project lead I ended up spending a lot of time combing through the CFM inventory in order to present my husband with options that we could both love. Karla gave great advice based on how we were planning to use the items, whether we were installing it or our contractor was working with it, and what we were able to do with our budget. We ordered flooring, tile for the showers, tile for the hearth, tile for the fireplace, cabinets, counters, matching grout and caulk. And sometimes it took more than one order to get the right amount of supplies when we started on projects and had to readjust. Karla was always happy to see me, communicated clearly about timelines and costs, and sent me paperwork via email so I could track things in my google drive. She hunted down matching dye lots, and helped me chose things like the best color grout. When it came to the cabinets, we made the bold choice of rich, deep blue with a swirled quartz counter. Daniel is no novice at this, and very politely inquired about the rest of our home so that he could make sure it wasn't just a crazy impulse by someone with decision making fatigue. I am sure that considerate line of inquiry has saved many a person whose brain is scrambled by the options in the showroom. We have an orange couch, and some green walls and a cherrywood kitchen, so no fear of color here. We aren't quite to installation yet on the cabinets, and I think Daniel is nearly as anxious to see it done as we are. Overall, the CFM team was helpful throughout, and were excellent communicators. They gave reasoned advice and were solidly in our corner throughout this adventure. We would have been happy if that the whole transaction, but they also sold us our flooring for nearly 40% less than the price quoted by another store. When you're buying four dozen boxes, that is a huge savings. We have sent several friends to CFM without hesitation, and will continue to do so. Photos attached of a textured tile we used with handmade cabinets, and of us on box 30-something of flooring.
Karla was incredibly helpful in offering direction & creative suggestions when beginning the remodel of our bathrooms. When I stepped into the show room I felt a bit overwhelmed at all the choices. Karla was able to simplify each step & listened to what I had in mind then offered great suggestions. I appreciated her knowledge of what it takes to successfully complete a remodel & she helped keep all the details in place for a peaceful flow of communication between us & our subcontractors. I whole heartedly recommend Karla!
Outstanding customer service from the second I walked through the door. I was immediately greeted by Blade, who helped me order material and pointed me in the right direction for samples based on what I was looking for. After giving me time to look at samples on my own; Lauren came to my rescue in helping me narrow down my selection and graciously used her expertise to guide me on what would look good together. Lauren and Blade were both professional and personable, making what could be a stressful task for me enjoyable. Thank you CFM for keeping your customer service standards high.
Omg. This place by far beats others in price. We bought LVP flooring and were able to get it the same day! I wanted a variation of cream, browns and grays in my flooring and was really difficult to find until I went here! Love my floors now!
