Cool-Off

I purchased the Island Breeze Oscillating Misting fan about 2 years ago. It dramatically improves the outdoor living experience in North Carolina during the many, very warm months. I emptied it for the winter but didn’t think about the water in the tubes. My error. The directions clearly state that it should be brought inside when freezing temperatures exist. One of the tubes developed a small crack due to freezing….again….my error. I contacted customer service and was amazed at how quickly they responded to my questions and provided all the information I needed to replace the pneumatic tube. My error cost me less than $15 and 15 minutes to resolve. What a pleasure to interact with a company who goes the extra mile, especially when most would have never taken the time. The fan is fantastic and the customer service is even better!

Dave the owner is 100% about customer service. I purchased a d installed a 60’ HP kit with upgraded filters and am ecstatic for next summer! I was surprised how easy the install went. Instructions and pics are very detailed. Stay Cool with Dave and his team! Thanks again!

I purchased 6 of the misting fans. They work great. One of the fan motors was making a loud sound after a year. I emailed David at Cool-off and he sent me a new motor no question asked. Amazing customer service.

Update: Owner of company finally got back to me regarding my broken unit. Sent me a rebuild kit which I hope will get my unit working again. Also offered me a discount a new unit for my troubles. Purchased a high pressure misting kit, had it installed by local contractors and worked fine initially. After 2 years, the pump suddenly stopped pressurizing. Now my $3,000 system is useless and produces no mist. I called numerous times in the past 6 months and have never reached a live person. Left several messages and no call back. I tried email and heard back from Dave, who told me the pump was discontinued but assured me that he would have a technician contact me to help troubleshoot the unit. That never happened. I tried emailing the company and Dave several times since then and no response for 3 months now. Disappointed in the lack of communication and a company that doesn't stand behind its products. I would not recommend purchasing from this company. Local companies have told me it will cost me thousands more to replace the pump. Total waste of time and money!

I purchased the mid pressure unit 7 years ago and have no issues with the unit at all. I live in California and use it every summer. At the end of summer I put the pump in the garage. The beginning of next summer I unscrew the nozzles and soak them in vinegar for an hour and they are good to go. After 7 years I finally had to replace the tubing as the temp got below freezing last winter. I would and have recommended this product to my friends.

I am a contractor in the Phoenix area and I just finished installing a High Pressure Misting System and it is working great. My clients and I are very pleased with the results. The system is 40’ of stainless steel lines with 20 misting nozzles and the high pressure app controllable pump.

Great product. Great service. Dave was awesome. Made sure I have what I needed for layout.
