I love coming here for their Tuesday trivia nights! Food is a bit on the pricier side if you’re going for a full entree. I really love the pretzels bites and the buffalo cauliflower - they’re priced reasonably and delicious. All in all it’s a favorite spot in the area to grab a drink with my friends - bartenders are great.
Great food, great service, no line. I’m always with kids so I was hesitant to try this place but since it’s less crowded than Zaftigs and closer, I tried it with my 8 year old and her friend and then again with my toddler. The food is always good, the waiters are super nice. The music is good. I like it here. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and friendly attitude.
This place has a great sports bar atmosphere about it. We shared a delicious turkey Reuben sandwich and some really nice cocktails. The bartender was super friendly!
Came for a pats game, bartender was cool af. Had the tacos... I'm not sure who they had in the kitchen, but they understood the assignment. The tacos are worth coming back again for. Definitely worth checking out.
Best bar around! Great for sports, relaxing and trivia on Tuesday nights. Food is delicious and the beer selection extensive Undoubtedly the best staff in the area, it's always a great place to unwind. Shout out to Manager Matt!Food: 5/5
In 10 years of living in Boston I have not felt the absolute need to submit a review until now. The owner was extremely rude, disrespectful, and aggressive without any provocation. My partner and I were seated on a table for 4 by the host, waiting for our friends to join they were running late. No one catered to us - no menu provided, no water, or any acknowledgement of our presence. After about 30 minutes the owner came to our table and yelled at us to leave so he could sit another party of 3. We were dumbfounded and tried to understand why he felt the need to kick us out without offering us the opportunity to order anything or wait for the rest of our party to arrive. He said that it was his restaurant and he could do whatever he wants with his business - this was not a negotiation and we had to leave otherwise he was going to call the cops to escort us out. As a black man I was forced to leave in this undignified manner to avoid an unnecessary encounter with the police. I don’t think anyone, black, white or brown deserves to be treated this way and I would not wish this experience on any human being.
The bar is a cool spot, for a small local bar and the staff are super nice and a lot of fun. With a decent list of beers but nothing super special just a number of options. Food.....so portion size is decent. The apps was really where its at. They where all really good. Main courses are hit and miss. I think just stick to the burgers as these went down well. Other options really did not.
Ordered the 10 piece chicken tender. Asked if I could get half jerk and half sweet bourbon,no. Why not?" If we do I need to charge you for 2 orders and we just don't like doing that". 8 people in there on a Saturday night at 730pm, they must be doing something right....
The bar is nice if you like sports, but at the end we left because even after 10 mins they didn't take food or drink orders . Also when you have 150 food options.. how fresh can they be for a small place?Service: 1/5
The wings, nachos, pretzel bites and fried pickels were all fantastic and they have a wonderful assortment of beer and hard liquor. I would highly recommend Coolidge Corner to everyone!! We pre gamed on the way to a Red Sox game!!
