Copeland DJ was the in-house DJ for Ancaster Mill where we had our wedding. We used them for the reception only as the Mill provides ceremony and cocktail hour music.
Pros:
-Copeland DJ is the only DJ allowed to use the built-in sound system so there weren't any extra speakers or equipment in the way. Our reception was in the smallest space (1812 room) and this was a big factor for us (unfortunately the DJ table is still set up near the head table and the equipment ended up in photos)
-Their planning tools (memory jogger of songs, suggested "special dance" and intro songs) was very helpful
-Planning meetings were detailed and staff were quick and responsive to emails
Cons:
-the DJ for your event is assigned to you and does not sit in on the planning meetings so there was a bit of confusion on the day
-We provided an emailed file for our first dance song; it was confirmed as received and working but a different song was played
-we had asked for no explicit songs and a couple questionable songs were played despite it being clear that several children were in attendance/on the dance floor
I imagine your experience can vary depending on the skill of the DJ assigned to you. But overall, for the ease of planning and set up, it's a good choice if you are getting married at a Pearle venue.

I used Copeland as my DJ at my wedding at Ancaster Mill. They were absolutely fabulous! When I met with them they really wanted to know what kind of party I wanted and had great ideas I never would have thought of. I would definitely used them again! Also my DJ Craig was super nice and got a long with my guests.

From the moment we met Bil at the open house, he put my mind at ease about using Copeland DJ. He was AMAZING! He really nailed the vibe i was looking for and made for a really fun time on the dance floor! Would highly recommend him to my friends and if we ever have a big event will book with you guys again! Thanks again to the team and Bil!

I had contacted Copeland DJ in November regarding their photobooth services. After offering a deal that I couldn't pass up, Bil was going to send a contract for me to sign. However, it is now March and I tried to get into contact with Copeland DJ plenty of times (through emails and phone calls) and am unable to get any response as they STILL haven't sent me the contract. I am getting married in 3 months and still haven't heard back from them... Very unprofessional and unreliable.

My husband and I went to see them at their open house and thought we would be in great hands. They were recommended by our hall Spencers. They were amazing. Everything went off perfectly! We had so much fun and had no idea the music was such a big part of our party.
Dave and Rob worked through the planning process with us and explained how to make requests and how the night would flow. They we're so right. Our DJ Al, was a perfect match for us. He was able to play all the music we asked for and our parents and even my grandmother we're on the dance floor almost all night.
We could not have asked for a better night. They worked so well with our venue.
