I took a C1 class with Kristen D and it was hands down my favorite class with CorePower since joining! She started class by having us set our intentions and sharing some mindfulness wisdom to think over during class. She demo'd each position and level modification throughout the class, as well as providing key posture components like hip orientation and weight distribution. However, my favorite part of her teaching style was the way she continued to bring us back to mindfulness, breathing and enjoying our practice. I left the class feeling like I had improved my foundational knowledge as a yogi, had a great workout, and got to have a very meditative experience.I cannot wait to attend more of her classes!
Ridiculous Customer service: Core Power Yoga charged from our credit card while the membership was frozen...Later, we cancelled the membership Whenever we tried to contact, no one picks up the phone at given number, overall, very difficult to get a response. We had to go thru dispute center with our credit card company and they still refused to refund us back to our credit card. Beware to start any new account with them. 1st, very tough to contact if you have any query, 2nd: very unfriendly customer service. 3rd: Never provide your credit card info to CorePower Yoga. We are still waiting from them our $104 back to our card. Please refund us back. Thanks
Specific to RiNo location- Ample free parking in the parking garage above. Clean, newer facilities with plenty of space to spread out. Free lockers most but not all locations have these. My YS instructor Ally was friendly and did a great job. Good retail selection. Overall CPY- Multiple locations you can attend. Different classes and styles of yoga. Something for everyone and something to keep a regular entertained. Free classes so I can try to get my friends and family to get into yoga with me.
This is very commercialized yoga. They pronounced the Sanskrit yoga terms incorrectly which was a red flag to me. A membership is $160 a month which seems pretty insane to me considering I was paying $60 for an unlimited membership at my previous studio. Not the right community for me.
Every teacher is so dedicated and fantastic. Every time you go to get on your mat you're greeted by a smiling face!
Amazing! High energy feels the minute you walk into this studio. The staff is very friendly and the classes I have taken are great! I come from Chicago, and during my 3 month stay in Denver, I can only say amazing things about this location. I am very satisfied with my experience at CorePower RiNo. A plus for having locks ;
Just took their free trial week and made it to 5 classes. I loved the variety of teaching styles available as well as the fact that teachers take a hands-on approach and correct students. I did feel that there was some room for improvement in the new student on-boarding experience. I would have loved to know a little more about CorePower's approach, facilities and recommendations. Instead, I kept having to ask questions and felt like I was bothering a few of the staff members who were talking among themselves. That being said, it's a really small thing and I will be signing up for an ongoing membership because I have enjoyed CorePower so much.
I just started going to this studio in addition to the one I've attended for years. I may make this my primary! Great vibe, easy to get to location, and challenging classes. Unlike some other studios in parts of town heavily populated by youngsters, I don't feel like a grandma here. Maybe that's because of my mad bendy skills?
