Its a good church even though it can get boring sometimes, the events can be really fun and for this day forward this is the best church in Brooklyn

This has been my family's church since 1959. My grandmother the late Katie King praised the late Rev. Sandy F. Ray teaching of God's word. My dad the late John Pitts married my mom Viola Champion Pitts here. My great aunt the late Mattie Robinson dragged me as a child teaching me to give God at least 1 day. I was christened and as a teen baptized here. There have been many great people at the pulpit...Rev.& others. I live in LI & miss CBC. I promised my late grandma to revisit & I plan to bring my mom with me. Great family church.🌟

I visited the church during the 2007-2008 school year while helping a missionary and retired public school employee who was a catholic tither as well as an Eastern Star who was my father's best friend and was overwhelmed by the service, I was especially impressed with the altar call for all youth walking down front with others stretching out my hands around the praying for them to be successful. My father would tell me stories of us attending this church when my mother was gravely ill after giving birth to my sister Cheryle but I never experienced the excitement of the service until I was an adult. The pastor preached a sermon that Sunday that prompted me to volunteer at the public school in Geneva Loop providing the teachers with literature for the students.
Mrs. Elizabeth Stennis told me I would be going home to work as an administrator one day back home in Brooklyn,NY quite wealthy. She also told me I would build a home there too five times as big as the first home I built in Sumter,SC for being so faithful to God since the age of 10 paying tithes and offerings from my babysitting job.
I will certainly give the church 5 stars.
