I had a very bad experience all they care about is money. David Small is very unprofessional.

I did my multi and group 1 ifr. The multi took me about 8 days (8.6 hours with flight test). The ifr about 2 weeks (10 hours of flying, and 9 hours of sim). Definitely review the price of things before you start, but they were pretty clear about how much I should expect to spend and I spent very close to that amount. David Small really went the extra mile to get me done quickly and efficiently. My instructor was fairly experienced (yeah he didn't have real world experience. He had been an instructor for his entire short career but he taught well, cared for what I had to say, didn't try to make me fly more than needed). They also have more knowledgeable instructors working there; ex airline pilots, and an ex controller. So you can also get a good grasp of how things are done in the real world. I was worried that the training wouldn't be up to my expectations, I imagined I'd be get in get to flight test and figure it out yourself. But I was surprised in a positive way to see that things were actually taught pretty well. The training was short but it wasn't rushed. I feel ready to start a ppc on a twin engine, and fly instruments.

Loved my 8 days there , staff there were totally great . Some better then others but there's no way I can say anything negative about my stay there . I have to make one more trip up there to finish what I started . I would highly advise anyone to check this place you , very professional with nice fleet of airplane and inside sims . If your looking to just get started or an upgrade pls check them out and I am sure if you make it clear to them what you want , they will make it happen. :) Thanks David :)

Great staff, thorough and efficient program. Modern and effective approach to IFR flying.

Got my Multi done, but I was disappointed with the lack of experience my instructor had on my initial IFR.
