Story

Dr. Gustavo M. Coutin is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He subsequently successfully completed the LSU 2 year post-graduate training residency in General Dentistry at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1982, Dr Coutin was honored by the city of Kenner, Lousiana for his service rendered in identifying the bodies of the crash victims of Pan Am Flight 759. He has been in private general dentistry practice for more than 30 years. In 2003, he was certified by the Peer Practicum in Implant Dentistry: A year long course of study in all phases of Implant Dentistry. In 2012, Dr Coutin successfully completed the Soft Tissue Surgical and Periodontal Applications course and was certified for Level I Laser Therapy by the World Clinical Laser Institute. He is the Membership Chairman of the New Orleans Dental Association. A lifelong member of the New Orleans Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association, Dr Coutin also serves on the Board of Governors of the New Orleans Dental Association. He is also a member of the New Orleans Dental Convention Governing Committee of the New Orleans Dental Association
