I have to wonder if any one who "counts" at cox ever bothers to read these reviews. If I could give this company a negative star count I would. - 20** I've been a cox customer since 2019 and prior to that from 2007 to 2010. Why I went back is beyond my comprehension. Their service is worse now and getting worse daily!! To anyone who reads this, run! Run as fast and as far from Cox as you can! Their service is sporadic at it's best constantly cutting out and usually at crucial points of the program Their customer service is worse than bad not just that I can't understand their foreign accent but their attitude is nasty. They say you can reach them by phone for tech support 24/7 What a joke!! They say your wait time is over 5 minutes, I have been on hold for OVER an hour as of this posting just to find out WHY I have 20 premium channels that I did NOT order!!! My contract expires February 2023 and I will be CANCELING my service. All these nice streaming channels who needs cox?????
Was there for a weekend event. Wifi was great! Rooms for team collaboration was great! Plenty of outlets available. Great area for dining and fellowship.
INCOMPETENTLY RUN BUSINESS - THERE SHOULD BE A MASSIVE OVERHAUL OF EXEC LEADERSHIP! They ALWAYS say no when we try to expand our services - NOT how to stay in business! Grossly inflated prices for really substandard service. And, they always deny any outage. Have lost our payment TWICE in a year! NEW LEADERSHIP NEEDED ASAP!!!!
Cox is the absolute worst. Internet is slow most of the time, always going out, and they find every which way to charge you more money. I have problems since starting my service in may. They lied about their panoramic easy set up service, then after a week of paying for internet they sent a service technician to come install one cable and charge me almost $200. Since I’ve had three bills already were they have charged me an extra $20 & support team is rarely ever helpful. If you’re looking for good internet services, do not go with cox!!!!
garbage I have to deal with low bandwidth several times a week during my meeting when I need it the most. Horrible website, no way to call and get help. Worst interactive experience
We were loyal Cox customers. We don’t miss payments. A year ago we moved out of state. Just received a collection notice from a creditor saying we didn’t pay Cox $96. We did not know we owed anything to Cox. Yet instead of sending us a letter they didn’t, calling us they didn’t, or emailing us they didn’t, they opted instead to ding my Ryan’s credit. What an unethical company! NEVER doing business with Cox again. Now, I have to spend a year or more undoing the damage to my previously stellar credit.
Cox has a top notch headquarters. They hosted the annual Georgia minority Supplier Diversity Council meeting in their atrium. World class facility.
I was a loyal customer for years, but when I moved and closed my account, I returned my router to the UPS store like Cox’s instructions indicated. They claimed they never got the router and charged me for it. I called multiple times and messaged them on Twitter, but Cox sent my account to collections anyway. Never do business with these scam artists. They’ll charge you for equipment you return, and you’ll lose money.
Cox Cable/Internet service provider in Mesa AZ HQ’d in Atlanta GA buried new cable for a customer of theirs living next door to my elderly parents-in-law about two weeks ago. In doing so, their installers severed buried cable providing DSL service to my parents-in-law, supplied by another provider! Not only did they not inform an 85+ year old couple that they had severed their internet service, they notified no one at all … not even their own service department! Upon our arrival for a visit last week we discovered their internet was not working and upon inspection suspected the recent Cox cable install next door might have severed their DSL line to the house … today that was confirmed by their DSL carrier technician. How do we know it was Cox you might ask … Cox Cable flags marking recently trenched buried cable to the neighboring property and passing directly by the DSL/Phone utility pedestal were still present! Further, Cox technical services confirmed the install at the neighboring property when we called to ask them to remediate their damage and help restore service ASAP. Due to community restrictions, a temporary line cannot be installed over ground until permits are secured to bury new cable anywhere from 2-4 weeks, although Cox did so for the neighboring property … are they above the rules? All of this now meaning that my parents-in-law will not have internet service for another 2-4 weeks, resulting in a 4-6 weeks service interruption! Good that we visited when we did! Cox is not willing or able to remedy this service interruption more quickly, nor are they willing to reimburse our parents-in-law for the service interruption they caused! Worst customer service I’ve ever seen in a 40 year career in businesses serving customers around the world! Bad form, Cox Communications! What responsible business would ever do this to an 85+ year old couple?
BEWARE!!!! Would give -5 stars if possible. I spoke to a total of 8 employees today. LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN EMPLOYEES. Multiple employees lied to me about promotions to lower my rate “no way to lower my bill”. They lied to me about government COVID relief assistance for students. Was on hung up on 3 times today. They hung up on me after an hour and thirty minute phone call when they said they were transferring me to a supervisor. Had to wait another hour and thirty minutes on hold. They had a planned internet outage but did not notify me. I missed an zoom interview for a $80k/ year job. They credited me 10$ for making me miss my interview. They would not give me the email or mailing address to file a formal complaint with the corporate office. Cox will lie to you and cheat you for financial gain. STAY AWAY IF YOU OPTIONS TO OTHER INTERNET PROVIDERS. Also they raised my rate and my internet got worse. Why do I pay so much if I have to go to a coffee shop for internet? TRASH SERVICE ALL AROUND. Can’t wait for STARLINK!!!!! I have had better internet in third world countries than Cox!!!! How are you going to do students this bad Cox? I vow to never used Cox again once STARLINK is up.
