***DON’T MAKE MY SAME MISTAKE!*** Hire COX LAW first, immediately, right now! Edwina Wager at Cox Law gave my family and me back our lives. Cox Law was the second law firm I hired after I was charged with a felony by the Meridian Police Department. I was being pushed around in court because the first lawyer I hired was, I soon found out, a Plea Bargain Artist- the kind of lawyer that takes ALL of your money and just strikes a plea deal with the prosecutor. If the DA had been willing to drop the felony to a misdemeanor I probably would have jumped at the opportunity, done my time, paid my fines, and moved on. But, they didn’t. They wanted blood. MY BLOOD. I was sick of not having calls answered and having this turd show up in court half shaved, in a dirty suit, scuffed shoes, and reeking of cigarette smoke. He was dressed so shabbily that people thought I was HIS lawyer! I was referred to Edwina by a friend, he promised she was a “pit bull in heels” and I have to admit, not only was he right, but it was the best advice I’ve ever taken. I fired that knucklehead and he had the nerve to tell me he had burned through all of the retainer I had paid him when he didn’t do ANYTHING except hand me papers that the bailiff handed HIM!
