Cracker Barrel

Updated Review. My family and I went back to Cracker Barrel last night and our server Dan was awesome, he did a great job. He was very polite and provided excellent service. The food tasted amazing even though they were busy it wasn't a rushed meal by kitchen staff. Thank you Cindy and Dan for making it a great experience! I would have taken more pictures of the food but we dug right in!

Our waitress was outstanding! She was kind and very attentive to us as we placed our food order. Thank you cracker barrel for hiring such competent , kind, gentle people to represent your company! The service was outstanding from the beginning to the end at check out!! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family members. We will definitely return to keep celebrating our family members birthdays. This morning we were celebrating our daughter and our grandson's birthdays. Kid-friendliness: They cater to children and the coloring sheets and crayons are always welcome no matter what age! Parking: Parking is very nice. We always can find a parking spot.

This particular Cracker Barrel is really good. I have eaten here twice now when visiting. I had the stuffed pancakes that were awesome. I always enjoy browsing the shop and found some Hot Tamales PeepsFood: 5/5

The store is looking festive and the food was terrific. We really liked Ashlee our server today..she was super friendly and took care of us perfectly!!!

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places. The old timey feel of the place just makes me dream of simpler times. The store is full of items just like a big gift store, from music CDs to Vinyl to novelty drinks and other toys that make me feel like a big kid. And the restaurant is very good. My favorite desert item is their Cherry Coke Cake. Is a good place if you feel like getting breakfast for lunch or dinner. The staff was lovely except for the server who was with me. An older lady who I'm guessing was having a bad day, but I got the vibe that she didn't want to be there. And it was another lady who actually delivered the food, she kind of showed up and laid the plates on the table then kind of walked away without a word. So there were at least two servers who were less than kind. But the host was lovely, so friendly. And the food was great as always!

We got a late lunch to go. My hubby had the fried turkey he's had it several times it was overcooked. His mashed potatoes were seriously in a big clump. It came up all in one when he tried to take a bite. I had the turkey special. I can only say glad I liked my sides. It just wasn't worth it to call and complain. I just can't believe people put that bad of food out. It was to go so maybe that's why they did it.

This was our first time visiting a Cracker Barrel; we received a gift card. Admittedly the gift card was given to us over a year ago. When we tried to pay with it, it did not work. No attempt was made to discover the problem with the card. Additionally, we were overcharged, which we caught before paying. The food is glorified fast food. It's mediocre at best. The employees were nice enough, but nothing special. We will not dine there again.

The last 3 visits we found the service was very slow and our food wasn't hot and fresh. The last time I ordered breakfast. My eggs were cold, my hashbrwns and toast was cold. The waitress never came back around to check on us so I could send it back. I ate my sausage and drank my coffee. When she brought our ticket I told her and explained that I should only have to pay for what I ate. A manager spoke with us and apologized and only charged me for the sausage and coffee. That in itself was extremely poor service. Really? He should have comped my meal. We are long time customers and we won't be back.

I dine in for breakfast at this establishment quite often. I stopped coming for a while as each visit showed that servers had poor attitude each time that I visited. Today I had the pleasure to have a new face serve me. As I was leaving, I handed a tip to the lady and another young woman yelled at the newbie girl to give her the tip I had just given her. I hope management is aware. I’m going to tip someone for their services, I am tipping the person that physically helped me, not the remainder of the staff. It seems as if the poor attitudes of the tenured servers continue, and it is not an environment that I will be eating in for some time until this is fixed.

There was a wait which was fine. Quoted 30 mins, took about 20. We get seated to be told that it would be about 45 minutes before we would get food because they were way backed up. I then noticed that the 9 tables I could see in our area had no food either. Once we fot food it was okay except our drinks were never refilled and we had to get up to get our own jelly and syrup as the waitress was so busy. Kid-friendliness: Kids meal has great options. High chairs provided. Parking: Decent parking. Might need more but spaces are sized decently and directly in front of the restaurant.
