Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Always a great meal at a great price. Our server was so friendly and fast and he really worked with my extremely picky food habits to make my meal enjoyable (getting a meal with no butter at a place that advertises butter on just about every menu item was no small feat, I'm sure). And the gift shop! So full of unique items at reasonable prices. I ended up with a full belly and a gorgeous dress and I couldn't be happier with this visit!

Very dissatisfied! I was so looking forward to eating here. I use to love their biskets and gravy. I have to say it was one of the most bland nasty tasting gravies I've ever tried to eat. There was no sausage in it, it was made from a package or something but it was terrible. I'll never go back to the one in Billings. Our waitress definitely didn't want to be there, and was about as friendly as a wet mop. Bad experience all the way around! My mother said it was the same way last time she was there! They lost all my family business when we travel through!

Cracker barrel is our regular stopping spot on our way home each year. They have a decent breakfast. Plenty of food on the plates. I also find some very nice outfits for my daughter there that you won't find anywhere else that I know of. The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent!

The special was Pork Chops- with mashed potatoes Meal was warm, potatoes and pork was dry. Requested gravy to add moisture but was less than appetizing, ate less than half the meal. Not sure who my waiting staff was two different people overlapped the table.

I was really bummed. There weren't any greens or cornbread fixed for breakfast. Husband's biscuits and gravy were pretty decent. The grits! Best I've had since we left the South.
