First time eating here with my family. The food was actually really good. Depending on what you get depends on the portion size. I would suggest getting the chicken fried chicken. You can definitely share it with someone or if you like leftovers it’s perfect for that. The gift shop was fun to walk around and definitely ended up buying a few candies and soda. Note: if you haven’t been before you pay your bill in the gift shop or on mobile pay. We had a gift card to use and mobile pay doesn’t have an option to use a gift card. So we sat there for a while waiting for someone to come get the bill and payment. No one came, so I did a Google search to find out how to pay the bill.
Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite breakfast chains. Foods always good and staff is always friendly. Food today was good, from the grandpa country fried breakfast, mommas French toast breakfast and mommas pancake breakfast. All very delicious as well as the loaded tater tots. Their coffee is good, not a fan of their half and half juice, which is lemonade and sweet tea. The only disappointment today was there was a big delay with our food, and our server didn’t really check up on us until the end. But overall it was a good experience.
Overall great food & kind employees! We got the loaded hash brown casserole tots appetizer - delicious, flavorful, crisp outside & smooth inside, & great with the ranch, cheese, & bacon. My fiancé got fried chicken with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, & bacon mac n' cheese - the chicken breast was moist & breading/chicken was crispy & flavorful. I got chicken & dumplings with mashed potatoes, fried okra, & fried apple with a side of biscuits & cornbread. If texture matters to you when you eat or if you don't love gravy, I don't recommend chicken & dumplings - I enjoy gravy & the chicken was tender. Avoid the fried apples if your sensitive to sweet things, I only got them because I wanted something sweet I couldn't finish them as they're very sweet, but a good side dish if you don't want to order a separate dessert after. Fried okra was average - not much flavor, not soggy, not very crispy. Biscuits were good, but the cornbread was very hard on the outside, soft on the inside - I don't eat cornbread often, but I don't think it should be crunchy outside... Also, the fruit stand tea was great! It wasn't syrupy or super sweet like teas are at some places. The menu said the tea was infused with peach, apricot, & dark cherry, & that's exactly what it tasted like - very refreshing, especially on a warm/hot day. I think our waitress was Bethany short straight blonde hair down, she did a great job too : Definitely will come back for more, hopefully they'll still have the limited time fudge hot chocolate!
Staff and waiter were kind and attentive. Went for breakfast and ordered the Grandpa's Country Fried and Double Meat Breakfast. Also ordered the Loaded Hashbrown Casserole Tots. Portions were adequate and everything tasted good. Biscuits were warm and soft. The Arnold Palmer non-alc I had here was the best I've ever had from any restaurant so that's a plus for me. After eating we browsed the shop which my mom enjoyed very much given she loves shopping for decor. Overall, good food and good service.
Our first ever timing visiting a Cracker Barrel. Really enjoyed it. Our server Cassie was very sweet and friendly, the meals were very affordable, tasty and generously sized, and to top it off I lost my wallet after paying at the counter and the team chipped in to help me find it. Thanks for the great meal and for being a friendly and helpful team.
Family get together, including a three year old grandchild. Lunch crowd, arrived at 1210pm and put on waiting list. Took about 16 minutes to get seated, and about another 5 minutes for our server to come to then table. Lunch rush, got our food at about 115pm. We got the grandchild a burger and fries, which was a quarter of a burger, divided, on two small biscuits. She took the two top buns put butter and jelly on them and was good. The rest of us had your Cracker Barrel menus staples and drinks and were good as well.
I've always loved the Pale People's Pancake Place! Service was efficient, always kept drinks full, we were sat relatively quickly, and food came out hot! There's a variety of country-style foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An awesome selection for sides as well! All in all, a great experience and affordable!
So I haven't been to cracker barrel in over a few years. Our experience is after covid. We had a pleasant time waiting for our table and browsed the gift store. They have several items if interest such as soaps, wax, candles, shirts, sweaters and much much more.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
The food was awesome Got the chicken fried chicken, fried apples slices, fried okra, and steamed broccoli though my partner and I did not get any gravy on out chicken, our waitress Hanna, was slow at drinks, and we asked for a coke a cola cake with ice cream on the side. Did not receive it and was pretty rushed. Got got a box and the check and before I or my partner could even say anything she was off. Other than that it still was a good experience.
If you've not eaten at a Cracker Barrel...do yourself a favor and stop buy for any meal.Breakfast is amazing! Portions are huge for the cost. Great family atmosphere! Order the fried apples and their loaded hashbrown tots! CA does not have Cracker Barrels so if you are on a road trip ...look for one!
