Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel has some of the most underrated food, and what makes it even better is that everything is at such a great price! Where can you get a good Steak and 3 whole sides for under $25?! I never knew how good their Steak was until a friend of mine put me on to it. It's very well seasoned and super tender, and just perfect! Cracker Barrel also has some of the most tastiest Pancakes in my opinion. Their new Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes were amazing! Unfortunately though they were all out of strawberries when I got these lol but the pancakes with the cream were still fire!

We ate breakfast here after our flight from BWI. They cooked the meal well done to my liking. My only complaint, the temperature of the food isn't hot enough. We actually love their gift shop more than the food. I would still dine their again, but ask them to serve it hotter.

Cheesecake pancakes were a success. The second day as leftovers it still was amazing. Very sweet and basically a dessert for dinner experience and filling. Happy with the food, made sure to put my name down for a table online 30 minutes before arriving and were able to get in with no problem. Highly recommend doing this as there is a wait. And the staff at this location were all friendly and hardworking.

*update. The food we waited forever for was terrible. Corn was basically boiled canned corn, pinto beans tasteless and watery, broccoli was overcooked and bitter, carrots were tasteless and bitter, mashed potatoes were tasteless, and the fried shrimp was undercooked. Coleslaw was drowned in mayonnaise. Cobbler is undercooked and still batter. We are never coming back to this location. I am writing this while sitting in the parking lot while my partner is inside waiting for the food that was supposed to be ready almost an hour ago. Outrageous and unacceptable. Even if the food is good, this does not outweigh how long food should take. An employee came out to take the names of us and other people waiting twice and still nothing. At this point, I wouldn't even dine in ever if the carryout takes this long. I'm usually the one to give the benefit of the doubt but this even tries my patience.

The NEW Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes are good and all, but it didn't come with strawberries and powdered sugar like the app said. Today is the second time I ordered curbside and received cold food after waiting 25+ minutes after I parked out front. I'm sorry, but I don't recommend curbside orders at this location at all. Especially when I place the order so far in advance to prevent my lunch hour from being cut short. Otherwise, they're food is fairly consistent when it comes to dining in.

The worst experience I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. Food: My chicken tenders were cold and hard as a rock. The “steamed” broccoli was more like fresh broccoli. No way it was steamed. I had to ask for biscuits and corn bread 4 times in a span of 25 minutes until the server brought it. They brought old biscuits, no cornbread, no jelly. I left pretty much my entire meal there to get thrown away. I never send stuff back, and can usually eat most food, but this was disgusting. Service: Female maybe Kayla server didn’t come by to check if we needed anything. We had to flag down a male server to even get our check. Bathroom: The bathroom was disgusting. Stalls were dirty and the floors were wet with what I hope was water. My family usually chooses Cracker Barrel because of the excellent service and great food. Utterly disappointed. Avoid this location.

I was very disappointed in the waitress and service. Maybe she was New or just confused. My Husband ordered Pinto beans distasteful then ask waitress for Greens, didn’t receive until we ask for the Floor manager for the bill and carry out container. I ask for Gravy with my Burger, waited five minutes to get that. Overall we didn’t have to wait to be seated. No long line. We will not return to that Location.

Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at. Our kids love shopping, playing games, and enjoy the food. In the most recent visits at this location we have noticed I downward spiral in service. My family had the worst experience tonight. There was no kid menus. We received rolls and tater tots and did not get extra plates. Our mashed potatoes had something stringy hair like in it, ham was super thin, and there was no tarter sauce with the fish. Our server never came to the table after receiving our meal, so there was no way in resolving any of these issues. We also had to teach down our sever for refills. After dinner I stopped in the restroom to find there was only one stall available and no paper towels. It was one thing after another. I found the manager on our way out to let him know. He didn’t even look me in the eye and started walking away as I was talking. I found this completely disrespectful. We will absolutely not return to this location and gladly take the drive across the bay bridge for a way better experience.

Cracker Barrell is definitely an okay choice for an affordable dine in meal option with children, family or friends. They have something for everyone although I wish they'd offer a turkey sausage or bacon besides the current spicy chicken sausage. They limit breakfast meat options for those who don't eat pork and not everyone wants a spicy sausage. The waits are extremely long and the hostess area to check in which is arranged in the retail area is very chaotic and makes wanting to visit rather discouraging. The waitresses are often overwhelmed and shows in the service they provide. The peach tea and biscuits, however, is deelish and definitely pulls me in, although, my biscuits were never brought out as listed and peach tea wasn't available at my last visit. I would visit again but planning in advance and maybe finding times that are less busy is best to possibly have a better experience.
